New Grower G'Day from OZ. 1st time grower here going to use the Auto-Pot Hydro System

I mix up a 3L jug of Mildura juice with 3ml of THC brand bloom nutes A + B, then 3ml of Calmag and this time I added 4ml of Seasol. I PH'd it to 5.8 and bubbled it overnight. The 60dw didn't like my first batch of bloom nutes, just a few hours after filling the tray (feeding bottom up) I began to see drooping leaves so I pulled the nutes out and won't feed for a few days or until I get the PH pen and mix up a proper batch.

Temps Morning 23 - Afternoon 25 - Night - 20 -- It's been warm the past couple days so I've had the aircon on set to 25 most of the day.

Yeah those temps seem fine. It's most likely a nutrient issue. Just reading my Seasol bottle here, says it has 12% Nitrogen. (4ml seems like a bit of a high dose tbh) might wana lower it to 1.5ml as the plant is already flowering. I'd also try lowering the bloom nutes to 1.5ml instead of 3ml. Plant isn't really showing any nutrient deficiencies (which means you're doing good so far.) but if its starts dropping after its fed nutes, something (could) be wrong. Also in the pics I can see a few tips that are yellowing, indicates (imo) the start of nute burn, lower the nutes to what I said here and see the results (see if there's any improvement).

You'll always wanna maximize potential yield for your meds.

Howdy Smeghead! Jumping in here a little late and still need to read all of the thread, but from what I can tell you are waiting for a ph pen to mix up a proper batch... Possibly could be ph lock out starting to go on and possibly from feeding from the bottom up, maybe the plants not getting enough water to all of its roots and its starting to show, just a thought.... Forgot the reasoning and where I read it but in the back of my head I remember someone saying watering autos that way is not good... Maybe someone with some more knowledge on the matter will pipe in.. This is your first grow and what you are learning now and stuff is invaluable... You may not end up with up the greatest end results etc but what you will end up with is better growing skills and dialing-in your set-up... I can promise you next grow will go better :karma Cloud: being sent your way for the rest of the grow... Don't give up on them.. Finish it through. Overall for the few issues going on the plants are looking good

Nice main cola forming and some nice bud sites on this 60dw. Week5, day1.

Got my ph pen and turned on the autopot rez with 10l to start with. Ph was dialed in at 5.8 and a few days later it was up to 6.3, adjusted back down to 5.8.

Used 2.5ml of THC bloom a + b and 10ml calmag. No other additives.

Main cola has doubled or tripled in size since the last update. Many budsites forming. Going into week 7, I I plan to take it to 10 or 11 weeks. When should I start to flush and how do I do it? I'm using the autopot bottom feeding system. Do I do a fresh res with plain ph water and blackstrap molassas? Or should I water top down with fresh ph water with blackstrap?

I start flush at first sign of amber trichs.. or when buds stop swelling and the masses of leaves start to yellow...First few days of flush i use molasses but then start with plain ph'd water.

Thanks all, its nearing 8 weeks and I'm going to take it to 10 or 11 weeks.

Should I LST these fan leaves that's blocking light to some of these lower bud sites or should I prune them? Will it hurt the plant at this late stage in life? I've staked most of the bud sites out of the way so the lower bud sites get max light. This one side has heavier growth than the other in fan leaves.

Otherwise this 60 Day Wonder is doing great! I thought she was lost as a seedling but bounced back big time.

I sampled 2 lower budlings earlier this week, dried them for 2 days. Round 1 with my glass bowl was STRONG and still had a lemony, citrus taste. The 2nd budling was a bigger nug and this one I dried for 2 days and water bonged it and it knocked me out after about 2 hrs. Pain in my lower back, left shoulder and arm was gone for 4hrs. Can't wait for the fully dried and cured fat, main cola to try.

This coming Tuesday will be the start of week 8, then I'll go to plain PH'd water in the Res and hand water the first week with PH'd water and blackstrap molassas. I bought a large Cvault and 62% Boveda to cure. The gameplan to cure is to dry until stems snap, even if maybe a little extra dry then straight into the Cvault container with the Boveda. I may burp a few days just to get fresh air in and leave it for 2 weeks, then take a "sample". Then let the rest go for a full month and proceed to consume it when I need it for pain management.

Can't smoke before work but I may take a few work from home days to bake.

Anyone else use Boveda to cure?

The next grow will be 2 Sweet Seed Super Skunks in DWC's and after that harvest I'll try the DNA Genetics 60 Day Wonders again. Just placed an order a week ago for another batch of seeds, mostly Dutch Passions....4 Think Differents, 4 Auto Mazars, 4 Skyryders and 4 Sweet Seeds Super Skunk.

That sounds great! Really nice to hear about the remediation of your pain, that's a wonderful thing. Can't wait until it's my turn.
I plan on trying the Boveda, it sounds like it should be just the ticket to nicely cured bud.
I can see from the list your as badly hooked on this growing thing as I am. Funny, when I started I thought waiting for them to finish so I could have a taste was going to try my patience and now it's waiting to start another batch that's getting to me. I want to convert my whole basement so I can try them all!!!!

Hey willie, been checking out your journal daily. gonna ask some questions in your thread after my update. Have you sampled your bud yet? I think I started after you did but I may finish first. How far out are you from harvest?

Week 8 day 1. X-posted this in the "when to harvest thread" as well.

Took these fan leaves off today. Too soon? Also, does these top cola leaves still look green or are they yellowing? They look yellow me under the led, maybe its the color getting was washed out to me.

I think I'm 2 weeks out now, 10 weeks looks to be the right time. I took another "sample" from the lower trash buds, only about .2g wet. Gonna let it dry for 2 days and give it a taste. I will change res this weekend to plain ph water and give some supplemental light waterings with reswater and blackstrap every few days until harvest.

Do I also need to give it 2 days in the dark before chop down? Oh, and i've been giving her 24hrs of light for the past 3 weeks or so to fatten buds or should I have stuck to 18/6?
