From what I gathered, most people run GH Flora's 3-2-1 (1-2-3) schedule at half strength. "Useless" is slightly stronger than that, and proportionally higher in nitrogen. I ran the the "useless schedule" at full strength for my first auto grow. I had a touch of nute burn a couple times. Maybe a touch of nitrogen toxicity a couple times too. But, in the end I harvested 6.5 ounces at 101 days.
Personally, I got tired of mixing 3 components at different proportions. I switched to Grow More Sea Grow, a dry fertilizer (The all purpose, bloom and Hawaiian bloom booster). If I lived somewhere I couldn't get this, I'd consider GH's MaxiGrow and MaxiBloom.
To be honest, I don't understand the stage-of-life specific schedules like "Useless." From my calculations, Grow More's Sea Grow All Purpose has more (by weight per gallon) primary nutrients than GH's or "Useless." The plant gets that constant amount throughout veg (except during the first 1-2 weeks when it's 1/4 and 1/2 strength). The plant is doing as well or better than my first grow. (Perhaps my first grow suffered from being my first grow. ha. But, it doesn't seem like the plant needs all that precision. It seems to take what it needs and isn't burned.).
