Hey all. Merry Christmas and happy new year! :fire:

What's a good filler plant to plant near/infront of regular autoflowers? Looking for something that's easy to germinate, fast growing, minimum/low maintenance, cheap seeds & requires no direct sunlight.

This is because the area I'm doing outdoors at the moment has perfect soil. I planted a AF (Trans Siberian) and it's growing faster than anything I've ever seen. Must be a fertile patch of soil.. the filler plants are to distract unwanted visitors. It's near a building and there's about 8 or so people living in it, but after watching my grow area for about 2 weeks or so, nobody has ever stepped near that patch (its in a corner near the front of the building).

At the moment, the filler plants (my potential list?) -

-Bean Plants
-Pea Plants
-Grass (regular grass)

Anyone have any suggestions?

id worry once they start flowering , people might not go near there now , but the nose "knows" if ya get what im saying

peace

Tomato plants require too much care. Had a few mixed in with my previous grow and they required nearly the same level of care as a pot plant. Deficiencies, cal-mag, nutrients etc.. my mum suggested beans or grass (shes been a grower for about 40 years) not growing pot, but growing tons of veggies (owned massive farms), slowly even getting her in to growing bud, but shes not a user or med user. lmfao! :bong:

About the smell.. yeah its' not far from peoples balconies. Is there any way to cover up the smell during late flower? Perhaps some sort of disgusting smelling plant (any suggestions?)? There's about 2 stoners living in the unit complex, so I can assume the residents are probably use to the Cannabis smell, but the plant itself produces a fresher aroma (pleasant to some..., *coughs*.)

But, you state you have perfect soil:smokebuds:

i always planted mint nearby to cover the smell , but thats a pretty well known disguise nowadays and could set off bells n whistles to the wrong ppl

peace

edit, i still plant mint , but i drop it in neighbors gardens and or in the wild when im living close to the wild

like right now , im at the end of a dead end street beside bush country and strangely enough there is some mint growing "wild" (wink wink) as soon as you enter the bush to go for a hike lol

I plant mint and peppermint around my veggie garden to keep the damn ground hogs out:smokebuds:

whatever you decide Chad, best of luck and much safety kharma sent your way:d5:

Well I dropped 1 plant in the soil and it flourished. Might post some piccies tomorrow. Not to sure if the soil is suited for tomato's. I've found tomato's to be harder to grow than cannabis itself. I've had a Tomato plant die for no reason what so ever. It just started turning yellow, wilted & died on me.

Mint is actually an excellent idea, ty for the suggestion guys!!! <3

If you are looking for strait camoflage, use "Macho Ferns" Nephrolepis falcate. They grow fast and big. My buddie uses them as camo outdoors. Smell wise, if you use mints.....use a hell of a lot of them

What lat are you at that you're growing outdoors this time of year? Cleomes are a great hide plant and easily accessible. The plant structure is some what similar and the leaves share some similarities.
