That is true bro. I will just be happy to get my box from dell I have to go through hoops just to get on here. Tomorrow is delivery date from DELL. Thanks for the help and interest. I will let people know how she works for me. I think a chrome device for older dudes that do nothing but post surf and watch netflix might be a cheap alternative. That way I can spend more money on to me what counts is a monitor a nice crisp high resolution model 23 to 27 inch

This chromebox is the real deal for ease of use and speedy holy crap. As of right now this is PERFECT

Well I ordered one a DELL CHROMEBOX. Does anyone have a suggestion on a monitor. I really would appreciate some advice on this. Any of you young computer tech's have any advice it would be helpful. Their was no reviews to be found on the chromebox I do not know if that is because of it being new or not so i took a chance. PEACE

I'm using an Acer monitor I bought 6 years ago. Good clear picture, no dead pixels and the price was right

Chrome OS...well its ok for light duty stuff. My concern is with Google's penchant for spying on its users. I personally won't access any canna sites/forums from an android device so I personally wouldn't from chrome either. I'd ditch the Chrome and install Mint 17!

It has a Intel celeron processor 4th gen and I downloaded a httpseverywhere extention. Thankyou for the heads up on that other os POP22. From what i have read on that extention I downloaded it is great for hiding your activity It comes highly reccomened

Run torbrowser . I personally dont care . Its not google you need. Worries about..

For the money it's a great deal and built very well. I use it mainly to read news papers and Google drive, video streaming works pretty well with a solid internet connection. The screen is not the best on the market nor the speakers, the keyboard is tight and track pad works just fine as well. If you do want a Chromebook and it's your first, pick this one up and give it a shot!

So far my Dell Chromebox is working just great. It is the fastest boot up I have ever seen It takes a mere seconds to get from one page to another no updates ever no antivirus software to worry about. I love my Chromebox
