Just thought I'd do a little grow journal. :D
Ok, it's been awhile since I've done one so bear w/me.
Strains/Seed Bank:
White Russian: 2 Fem. Lowlife Seeds
AutoMazar: 2 Fem. Dutch Passion Seeds
Fast Bud: 2 Fem. Sweet Seeds
Soil:
I'm using nothing more than Miracle Grow Moisture Control.
Ferts:
Fox Farms Trio
Germination:
Used Jiffy Peat Pellets 2" (I don't recommend these. Last time I will use them. See my post in the main Forums in the "Cannabis Infirmary" "Sick Plants" http://autoflower.net/forums/showthr...96-Sick-Plants ) FullD was the biggest help here. Look for post #8
Also used a germination heat mat with thermostat set at 75 degrees.
Lighting:
T5 HO 8 bulb light fixture. 432 watts (Grow Bulbs 54 watt Lumen Output 4600 and Color Temp. is 6500k) (Bloom Bulbs 54 watts Lumen Output 4800 and Color Temp. is 2900k, now I may or may not use the bloom bulbs)
Light schedule:
20/4 start to finish

Put selected seeds out to sit @ room temp. for 24 hours. (I keep my seeds in a refrigerator @ 40 degrees.)
Soaked all the seeds @ room temp. in distilled water (already ph balanced-that's a given) for 18 hrs. All had sank but one Mazar.
At this point, I used the Jiffy Greenhouse and the germination heat pad. Put plenty of Distilled water in the Greenhouse to expand the pellets and drained off most of it. Opened up the netting and set the seeds, point end down, (just helps orientate the seed better. When they open, they will split @ that end anyway.) 1/4"....Set the thermostat on 75 degrees and put them in the dark. This happened @ 8:30pm on 3-20-11
On 3-23, 59 hours later, First Fast Bud popped. #2
Same day, 11 hours later, Fast Bud #1 and White Russian #2 popped.
On 3-24, 12 hours later, White Russian #1 and Mazar #1 popped.
Same day, 13 1/2 hours later, my last Mazar #2 popped.

So in just 71 hours, I had 100% germination.
At this point, I went ahead and transplanted all 6 plugs, plants in toe, in 10" pots. I simply call this their home pots.... It's worth mentioning that after the first seed popped, I removed them from the darkness and placed them "In the Shade", so to speak. Still on the heat mat with the lid cracked, until the rest popped.

Ok, it's the 25th of March and all 6 plants are in their home pots. All have their first true leaves. (the pointed ones remember  ) Ok, I know this seems fast, but it's the T5 HO lighting I contribute the rapid growth of my plants. It's been a mere 5 days since I started soaking the seeds in the water for germination, and pow, their in home pots already and dampened off, so right up to the light they go. I keep my plants about 2 to 4 inches from the lighting their whole life. God I love these light fixtures :D. Low heat means I can keep the plants close. The nodes will stay shorter (genes permitting) than if grown under HID lighting...
I got some catching up to do, but it's getting late and I'm burnt and ready for bed. Oh, yes, sweet sleep. Be back tomorrow.

Ok guys, I back to do a bit more in the journal. Left off with March 25, their first Day. Day #1.....
Not much to tell here. They grew
March 29:
Found a few spots on one plant. Been fighting something for 3 or 4 grows now. Talked to FullD about the problem. Here's what I did:
March 30 (plants day 5)
To counter the low ph from the peat, I increased my ph during watering to 7.0 I fed the little boogers some FF GB (Fox Farms Grow Big) at a PPM of 530. My water is store boughten Gerber Baby water. My home water is softened, so it wont work.
Watered/fed at 4:00AM.... Lights go off at 2:00am and come back on at 6:00am. I split 2 gallons of water in 3rd's and gave each plant a 1/3 of a gallon of water/ferts. Waited to see any results.

It's probably worth mentioning, I had a second Fluorescent light fixture up, a TT-105 4 bulb 420 watts. This fixture had to be taken down. It puts off a lot of heat for a fluorescent fixture. I didn't care for the lighting either. Seemed to me that the veg. and the bloom bulbs looked like the same color spectrum. The fixture has this yellowish tint for reflectors. Plus they discontinued this light fixture, I can see why. It's a good bright shop light. Enough said about this crappy fixture, unless somebody needs more info on it.

March 4: Plants are 10 days old now.
Watered and fert. plants again. Used FF GB at 630/640 ppm. PH was 7.0.... Again, used 2 gallons and split each one of them into 3rd's for even distribution of the nutes. Watered them at 5:00am Temps. are steady now in the day and night since removal of the TT-105 light. 77 to 79 degrees day time and 68 to 71 degrees at night. Also, since the temps outside have warmed up, I am able to run my window A/C unit to maintain temps. I run it at 68 degrees and keeps my canopy heat down to 77 degrees.
I've posted pics in the group plus there in my photo album to.

March 6: Day 12

Got my first pre-flower hairs on WR#1, WR#2, FB#2 and FB#1....:jump:Not to bad from seed to pre-flower...in 14 days....:dance2:
Also, noticed the ganja starting to smell. Not sure which ones it is, but I think it's the FB....

Finally I'm caught up with the grow... I'll update as they grow and add info when I change something. Stay tuned for more to come.:hump:

I'm back, here's a link to my pics. Their of the plants and the lights. The pic of the lights is to give you guys an idea of what I'm talking about with the combo Veg. and Bloom bulbs. The pics of my plants are as of today. I'll go into more detail in the next post, but all have showed pre-flower now except the midget Mazar #2 and Mazar #1

I am curious what result you get from the white russians. ICU is part russian!

very great choice of strains, I'm in love with both dutch passion and sweet seeds, in fact my next grow will be 2 auto orange skunk (snow storm #2 by DP), 2 auto cream caramel, and 2 fast bud too, I love those fast grower and killer stoning small babies...

good luck!

Look forward to checking out this latest run.
Sounds like everything is going smooth, almost routine!
Pretty much Thai, except the combo lighting. Trying something new there.

sweet good start

Thanks. Got to add pics yet. Time isn't on my side here lately.

Got ya. So far my WR have excellent branching. There growing up instead of out. Staying close to the main stem. I haven't grown any of these strains yet. But I'm liking them so far.
