http://www.lilshopofspores.com/ I have tried other sites and they sent me bunk spores. Lil shop of spores even sent me some free spores.
You will need 3, 10cc syringes for the above amount of berries and compost. You will be using 6 cc’s per bag of rye berries.
You are going to inject 6 cc’s of spores from the syringe into each bags of rye berries. You need to do this in a very clean spot. Make sure you wipe down the area with rubbing alcohol. Get the 90% rubbing alcohol. Wash your hands with the rubbing alcohol as well. You can not skip any of the cleaning. Wipe down the rye bags with alcohol as well. Get a metal ¼ cup measuring cup fill it half way with rubbing alcohol, light on fire, flame will be blue, put the tip of the syringe into flame until the tip is glowing red. Let it cool for a few seconds then poke hole into bag and squirt 6 cc’s on top of berries on one side so the spores drip down the side of the bag. Do not inject spores in the middle of the bag. Make sure it on top and on one side. Place small piece of sterile medical tape over hole. Do all bags.
Put the bags in a dark closet that maintains about 75 degrees. Now you sit and wait for the spores to start to colonize into Mycelium. Do not move bags. It should look like bright white webbing. Go to
www.shroomy.com to see pics. This can take up to a week or more. Once you have about 20% Mycelium you want to mix the bag of berries to spread out the mycelium. Be genital when you do this. Put the bags back into the closet and wait for 100% mycelium. You want the bag to be all white. Once the bag is all white give it about 1 week to make sure the center is colonized as well.
Once your rye berries are fully colonized with mycelium you the put it into the compost. Again be in a clean area. Cut open both bags rye berries and compost. Brake up the rye berries with your hands before you open the bag. Dump into compost bag and mix real good. Fold compost bags closed and use paper clips to hold shut. Put back into closet to colonize the compost. You are looking for the same whit mycelium to start to grow. This as well can take a few weeks. Once the compost bag is 100% colonized with mycelium. Off to the next step.
Fruiting the cakes, you need to introduce 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark you can fruit them right in the bags if you want but I like to use 18 gallon rubber maid tubs the clear ones, must be clear. If you fruit in the bags you will not get as many mushrooms. In the 18 gallon tubs you need to drill about 10 small holes ¼ inch holes on each side for air movement. Put about 1 inch of perlite on the bottom of the tube. Place the cakes on a aluminum foil roll about a 1 inch roll made into a circle. You need to keep the cake off the perlite. Once the cake starts to furit you want to mist with distilled water once per day. Keep a fan blowing on the tubs the air will go into the holes you drilles ¼ inch holes. Run fan for a few hour per day only. You want the humity to be very high during fruiting don’t be afraid to mist the perlite as well. Pick you mushrooms before the caps open. Let dry in front of a fan for about 1 week or until cracker dry.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU TAKE THE CAKES OUT OF THE BAG AND PUT INTO RUBBERMAID TUB. USE A RAZOR BLADE TO CUT THE BAG O

. YOU DON’T WANT TO HARM THE CAKE. BE VERY CLEAN FOR THIS ALSO.
I got over a ¼ pound with using same amounts as above.
I think I spent around 170 or 180.
