Grow Mediums grow problems

ok so this is my second grow and just started having some issues. bottom leaves are dying and tips are turning brown. looks to me, from what I read, a case of nute burn but not sure. currently in week 5 of veg. temp around 77. 600 watt mh. flood 5x a day for 5 min. medium is hydroton. ph 5.8. ppm 1100 (1250 recommend by manufac) using the entire line of dutch master gold.

if you guys cant see I'll try to get some clearer ones. my main concern is the light color on the edges. all that shinny stuff is just dried up foliar spray. disregard that.

Looks pretty normal to me. Some of those bottom leaves won't make it anyway due to lack of light down below the canopy. Also, Autos can't take as much nutes as Photos. It's recommended to start at 1/4 strength of the stated dose and work your way up, not to burn. Some strains can eventually take full strength and some cannot.

ok so that lighter green around the edges are not an indication of a problem? i'll monitor closely and update. thnx for the help. i'll make sure to lower dose on nute change and see how it works out. changing out later tonight.
