Hello AFN!
It has been around 8 months since I even considered growing my own weed. I didnt join any forum at the time but I did a lot of research. I didnt want to join ASAP and bother people with noob questions. I gained some basic knowledge and I started growing. It wasnt until the end of August when I started my growing journey. Luckily I managed to harvest couple of autos week ago. They survived harsh conditions brought by October and November.
It was both satisfying and hard because I had to do it outdoors and I lost a lot of time while searching for the site. There were also other problems because I live with my family so I didnt have all the privacy I needed. But I would always find a solution and it all gone unnoticed (for now). Also I needed to use autoflowering seeds because of the short growing window and simplicity.
I hope that now you get it why I joined AFN
. I found some great info over here and I was especially happy to find out about drying buds in paper bags. Man, it saved me a lot of time, money and nerves and thank you guys for all kind of contribution. I would like to contribute to the AFN too and there are some things I had in mind:
-Growing outdoor with restricted privacy, space and time (growing guide; if there isnt some so far,but if it is I would try to improve it)
-Make it simple by using organic ferts, constructing a protection for seedlings (I would like to spread the word about usefullness of using the same pot from seed to harvest, correct me if I am wrong but I think I read multiple times that people recommend that), constructing 'device' for effective and cheap germinating of the seeds
and everything else I can remember. I wouldnt do it soon but rather some other time.
That would be all for now, I am already preparing for the next season so maybe I will post some of the questions around here. Thank you once again and I hope we will all have great time around here.
