Thank you so much my friend!
Would like to see more people growing SOG or SCROG but unfortunately there’re only a handful of people including yourself that are able to grow using these methods as the majority are still hesitant to remove leaves from their plants and without being comfortable with extreme defoliation these styles of growing are basically impossible to accomplish successfully.

It’s all in the pruning brotha! :nono:

Day 46
Starting to slow down on their stretch so I stopped all the tucking and weaving and now letting the nodes reach for the light. Still doing my daily canopy management with a lot of defoliating and leaf tucking to keep the foliage down up top and I’m also planning to completely strip the plants down again within a week. There will be no lollipopping with this grow to maximize the potential of the crop so very crucial that I keep the bottom of the canopy well exposed to harden everything up down below.
Switched the single plant scrog and the mini scrog over to General Hydroponics Flora Nova Bloom from Nova Grow and cut all synthetic nutes from the 8 plant scrog a few days ago but top dressed them with Down to Earth 4-8-4 dry organic amendments. The dry amendments will make things a little easier for me with not having to mix nutrients for the 8 plant scrog and interested to see if there’ll be a big difference in cola/bud size and quality in the end.

Hey Y’all… sorry for neglecting my thread.
Been very busy with other things recently and haven’t put much time into my cannabis hobby in the past month. Nothing really exciting going on with the girls but hope these pics and brief info will help everyone get caught up on the grows.

Day 70
Lost a couple colas in the back of the tent to bud rot. My fault for having only one fan running and not enough air flow. I have the tent set up in my cold 61F garage and had a difficult time dialing in my environment throughout the grow.
At this stage I was fertigating 5 times during a 24 hour period for 10 minute increments with the EC set at 1.8. She was drinking about a gallon and a half a day and I was having to top off the 7 gallon bus tub reservoir every couple days. Started adding Sugaree from Cutting Edge to her diet for carbohydrate supplementation and also fed General Hydroponics Koolbloom powder for her finishing PK booster.

Day 85
Harvest day! (3/31/23)
Didn’t realize how huge she was until I cut the net away and pulled her out of the tent. Would have liked to let her grow for a couple more weeks to fill in but the bud rot was spreading slowly and she was still foxtailing.

My 8 plant scrog grow actually turned into a 6 plant scrog. I wasn’t very familiar with the cultivars I’m growing and obviously underestimated my grow space. Had to take the two Hubbabubbasmellowscopes out and put them in their own 2x4’ tent. Didn’t think I was doing the plants Justice by having them all crammed together and felt guilty that I wasn’t letting them grow to their full potential.

These are the two Hubbas I put into the other tent. They were still going through their preflower stretch so I thought it would be good to continue holding them down but had to strip them again and prep them for the net.
