Hello, inspired by @420autoflower method I am doing something similar but I am not sure is it scrogg or lst? Photoperiod in 1m x 1m tent, day 63 and 28 from switch

Fantastic looking canopy @miczb!
You’ve got a lot of nice healthy tops that look they’re ready to blow up.
Someone else sent me pics of their canopy about a year ago that resembled your grow with all ties. Is this the first time growing this way? Good idea with the screen underneath, gives you unlimited places to tie down. The way you flattened her out and kept the tops horizontal is basically the same principle as the 420 method but done with LST. I assume you were able to get all the way around her to work on her canopy.

I tried scrogg one time but I hated it when I have to put branches through the net, that was a nightmare for me. Now I have net attached to the pot so I can easily catch any stem and move it down, up left or right. Bending with electrical wires.

It’s a great idea but from looking at your beautiful canopy I would think using all the ties is much more work as opposed to just lowering a net over your plant. Easier day to day canopy maintenance with a net and you’re not committed to having 360 degree access around your plant.

Rather than mixing and testing pH (irrelevant according to claims), maybe test performance and grow some plants with the stuff? Not adding more salts to adjust pH might work well with rockwool blocks and the 420 Method?

I am not defending/supporting Advanced Nutrients, their monopolistic pricing, marketing, its corporate or leader's behavior, etc. (much of which is questionable), just noting that their stuff works as claimed for likely most users.

I just wanted to show everyone that Advanced Nutrients isn’t “PH Perfect” like they advertise. As mentioned before, the PH is off without even mixing in anything extra. I’ve run a lot of their nutes and I’m sure I’m able to grow big healthy plants with no other additives but the PH would still need to be dialed in from the beginning. I’m growing hydroponically and it wouldn’t make sense to ignore my PH.

I’ll be growing Cosmic Queen, Galaxy Brain, Royal Stomper and Electric Qoolaid autos for Nightowl, and I’m also going to showcase PMK and ICH photoperiods for Dutch Passion.
Should be an interesting grow.

Dutch Passion Frozen Biscotti harvested 10/20/25 on day 98.
Wet weight 13.3lbs. Dry weight 1070g or 2.38 pounds. The $109 240watt FarmLite that grew this plant produced 4.45 grams per watt.

Yes, only once.
ILGM sent me some auto seeds to grow for them last year and one of them never flowered. I ended up treating her like a photo and cut the light back to 12/12 to trigger flowering. She responded to the 420 method well but was difficult making sure there was no light leaks or interruptions from my auto tents.

I think Galaxy Brain is outstanding, very much looking forward to watching you grow it! Having grown GB it will be much fun watching you max that baby out! I must say that even though I don’t scrog or do/use anything else in the 420 method, this is absolutely my favorite thread to follow. Just amazing to see what you do and the true potentials of autos.
