Indoor Gtron APG hydro

Gadzooks! Those secondary limbs are so THICK. Wow, man....that thing is a Brute. So dense.

That little frog is going to feel right at home in that rain forest.

Did you have to make a little habitat for it? Or what? I assume it would be bad for it to fall down into the reservoir?

That would be bad Trapper, but I more concerned that the spiders will get it, than it failing in the rez.
It's a cruel world though, I figure it has a better chance in my closed environment than out there in the wild.

Yes, she is quite hardy

Hey, I get it...it's an employee, not a pet. ;)

Day 41? (I think Ronin & I started this strain on the same day)
Upward growth is very slow now. All the main branches are just over or under 25" and that space is about 28" wide.

She is throwing out the pistils now!
Bud building time!!!!

Day 43
Upward growth is very slow at this point. All the main branches are right at 25" or over

Time to build buds, I hope I can keep up with her.

I had obligations all weekend that prevented me from even looking at her from 3pm friday until 10pm sunday.
My main concern was the rez temps getting too high.
I have more than 20Lpm of air movement in it, but they still get pissy when their feet are hot.

I normally have the luxury of being able to check on the plants every few hours if need be. I don't use a chiller (yet).
I use 1 or 2 liter frozen bottles to keep the rez temps in line. This is a cheap easy solution as long as I don't need to leave them for more than about 30 hours. Like this weekend.
Anyway I knew it was coming so I made a the new rez, phPerfect Sensi Bloom w/ supps, EC at 1.2, rather than 1.5, had it setting at 60f . Flipping it was the last thing I did before saying goodbye for the weekend. I dropped the frozen 2 liter in it's place and left. At a starting rez temp of 60f, and my ambient temps of 75-84 these coolers will lose their temperature at a rate of about .5f per hour. I don't mind an occasional rez temp foray up to 72f-74f for a few hours, but it is pushing it.
No choice here, I knew that frozen 2L would drop the rez temp down to about 56 in 30 minutes and then began to rise at the rate above.
Depending on when I was able to finish my obligations, I knew she would be at 74-75 for at least a few hours and probably more than 5 hours.

Well, she did ok, Her EC had only dropped 1.17, but I had not expected it to drop much as she was happy in veg @ 1.25
But, she was definitely pissed, as I was not there to adjust the feed.

So the center cola is showing a little interveinal chlorosis, and there are a few other places I can see it.
Probably a tad too much phosphorus.
I will see if I got things adjusted OK tomorrow.

Thanks Noob and automan, I think she looks good too. But seeing that this is a test grow journal, I wanted to be clear that this little bobble is on me.

Day 45
She is building buds nicely.

I am going to change her rez a little early this week and add some hygrozyme to the mix.
I had run low last week and barely had any in that rez.
I think some sort of enzyme product is important in hydro. There are several good ones on the market, they are all pricey, but the good ones will make a hell of a difference in your root zone.

Besides that, that rez was deliberately set @ a low EC & I think I can see it.

All that said, she is doing great! Grapefruit smell is there, but not over whelming. You definitely notice it if you touch her.
