Lighting Hans Panel LED

Hi Bliguld,

The lights don't really get hot at all, I keep mine between 10-30cm away from the canopy with no issues.

I use passive intake into my box and the internal temps are roughly 3-4 degrees warmer than the external temps, very manageable even in summer.

My box is roughly 80cm Wide, 48cm Deep, 100cm Tall and my extraction fan is max 110m3 per hour so it will be closer to 90m3 after the carbon filter reduction is factored in.

Like I say, no complaints for my requirements. Any other questions just fire away, will help where I can.

yeah I like those panels, seen a few dudes use them via online journals,. plant photonics leds are also very similar, lightweight, etc.. but those use Osram SSL80's chips instead of cree.
Have been tempted to get a hans or photonics panels a few times, especially when it gets hot here as those panels are meant to run cooler than most.

Highly recommend!!!! I obtained 2 60w used on Craig's list. Rocks my 2x4. The key is to keep 7 to 12 inches above canopy. See my journal covering Diesel Magic. 77g dry weight...10 weeks total.

Just checked out the Hans panel, looks pretty good and he seems to have recently updated the LED's used to XPE2 and XTEAWT Crees, I also asked for a cost - 249 Euros plus another 20 Euros for delivery, and said just 1 of the 180w panels would be good for a 0.8 x 0.8 x 1.6 tent, well impressed. Does anyone know if there are any grows on here with an Hans panel please?

Sadly there isnt any real grow, and 500euros is my whole paycheck,so im torn between two 180w hans or one chinese led..

What size is your space @diskokobaja ? ive got a couple of mars hydro 300's with the 5watts, pretty good for the price but they really bleach my leaves, so I have to hang them quite high, prob is I lose penetration then. The quality of the light is lacking, seems to be a bit crude. Dont know if I have explained it very well lol

I'm using two 80w old models in my microcab. I actually don't think Hans panels are all that great, the new models are obviously better but I have no experience on them. I'm replacing mine with some white COBs at some point.
