I have a bowl of sugar leaf trim , but I don't have a screen to make hash and I don't really want to do the hand rolling method either.
So I was wondering if I just grind up all the sugar leafs and shake it in my grinder with the crystal catcher and get the keif , would this be the same job? Sort of? :pimp:

Good question, I never really know what to do with my smallish amounts of sugar leaves. If I had loads then yes I would get the screen filters etc, but a small amount? I dunno. A Kipper for the best suggestion.

Yea there's not enough to go through a lot of trouble making hash , but still enough to do something with. I think just shaking the ground up leafs over the small crystal screen in my grinder , and then smoking the keif if the only use I will have for these. If that even works , I've never tried it.

Sounds like you have the perfect amount for a little ISO hash or Everclear hash.
It is very quick and easy with small amounts.

gtron2, could you elaborate a little on that please, or post a link or two ?

cheers, eP.

Happy days there's some hope ha how would I do it?

Get a nice little pint or smaller jar (baby food jar size works)
Put your leaf matter, buds, what ever or whatever in it. Full is Ok, but packed is too much.
Put it in freezer.
Get bottle of everclear or 90% or higher ISO
Put in freezer also.
Wait a few hours at least.
Prepare two paper coffee filters by wetting with water, squeeze as much out as possible, and place them in a funnel or strainer. (The flat bottomed metal screen coffee filters work good for this)
Place this over flat shallow glass baking pan.
Take herb filled jar and alcohol out of freezer.
Pour alcohol into jar just covering herbs.
Put lid on and shake the hell out of it for 30-45 seconds.
Carefully pour contents through filters and allow to drip through filters into shallow bake pan.
Gently squeeze coffee filters to claim all alcohol.
You can either allow the alcohol to evaporate naturally, or have a fan gently blow across it to increase speed of evaporation or place on heating pad.
Once the alcohol has evaporated, you will have residue left on the glass.
This is your hash.
It may be shatter, it may be powdery, or it may be oily.
Carefully scrap with razor.
Enjoy.
