Harvesting wild Mycorrhizal Fungi

@dingo - @Eyes on Fire - @Rhyce Saroni , Ok dudes , I am still going to have a go at growing my own , but in the meantime I have found this and after a bit of time researching each one , I think I have found a good mix . I am near the end of the road understanding all this , so what do you think .

• 4 species of Endomycorrhizae (Glomus intraradices, Glomus mosseae, Glomus aggregatum and Glomus clarum) - 600 thousand propagules per kilogram minimum.
• 2 species of Ectomycorrhizae (Pisolithus tinctorius and Scleroderma sp.) - 110 million propagules per kilogram minimum.
• 2 species of Trichoderma (Trichoderma harzianum and Trichoderma koningii).
• 1 species of Bacillus (Bacillus subtilis).
• Also contains humic acid / vitamins and other selected beneficial bacteria but not listed as proprietary.

That looks interesting. I'm trying my hand at collecting myco and microbes locally but thinking for my first mix I may need a product like this.

Im sure that will be fine man.one thing to remember though is variation.you have or buy another type of wettable powder or granule or what have ya.some species provide specific food for some and help thrive a population . just never to exceed the main species though. always boost through a grow or especially once you re amend prior to a new grow or similar.

EoF, you mean I should get more than one innoculant for my initial soil mix? Or wait till later when I re-amend remix the soil.

I personally prefer a three step system for my soil inoculates.EWC,Bokashi, and steer manure. but if you dont have that I like EM-1 or Bokashi, great white, Bio VAM AG. and many turn and play with one another.just remember though if you use lik a great white for example and you want those types to remain dominant make sure their not over powered and essentially eaten.so balance there is key/but even to just do that when re cooking/re amending is fine too. but all depends on what your using. but any one or two or three of those will do fine..or atleast something comparable.

Hey Eyes while your here... I am going to start mixing my own soil in about 2 grows. I plan on using steer manure and worm castings for my inoculates. I am not going to be recycling my soil. Will these work enough?

Thanks Eyes, sounds like I should be able to do that.
