Seems like it should work better than the 15L, if I'm understanding the theory of 'coco-as-hydro' (vs. as soil) correctly. More dry/wet cycles=faster growth, no? Theoretically, hypothetically, and to my inexperienced, untrained eyes, it seems like in an inert substrate such as coco, what matters isn't the size of the container as much as the amount of water that the plant has access to. Is that a more or less fair assesment? What kind of limitations on growth can I expect from this (if any)? I'm assuming it would limit some of the more XXL varieties, but that doesn't really seem like a huge issue for me as I would rate variety over yield.

Anyone done one of these? Remember seeing it in someone else's thread at some point? Just have a theory? Don't have one but are curious? Do have one but it is actually about how they built the pyramids or how to split the atom? GO FOR IT! No bad answers, amirite? All comers welcome.

If it matters, I will (fingers crossed for successful shipping) have 3x3BOG, and 1x each of Sour Hound, Supernatural OG, Sour Stomper.

Yes I have recently finished a grow using the 8.5l litre pots. Went well, I managed to have those two and 2 other smaller pots in my tent. Was pretty tight at the end but it was ok. My tent is 80cmby 80cm, the previous grow I had filled it with one plant in a 15L and wanted to see if i could yield more doing a few plants in smaller pots and also because I also wanted a little variety. It worked well, only got about 60g per plant but guess that’s not too bad. Strain was barneys farm Pineapple Express, light was mars 400 (actual power about 190watt) next time around though going other way, 25L and organic soil and only feed water. Well that’s the plan anyway could all change!
Sorry haven’t really answered any of your questions! I know that in soil ‘bigger roots bigger fruits!’ But yeah I too figured with this system that shouldn’t matter as roots can always drink like in a slab hydro system but yeah i don’t know.. I reckon bigger autopot bigger results. I want to run the Pineapple Express again in 15L pots and see what happens, but doubt I will here cos it absolutely STINKS!
