Mephisto Genetics Head strain

Hello everyone!

I am currently testing a Sour Stomper and a Chemdogging and I am looking forward to testing the final product!

I was thinking that I may order more for the 420 sale, but I am bit undecided on the strains. I am under the impression that most Mephisto strains are quite narcotic/indica feeling. Is this an accurate statement? I am looking mainly for head strains, strains that will take your mind and mold it, shatter your rigid thinking, pop complex and detailed imagery in your mind etc. Is there any strain by Mephisto that fits this bill? I am aware they are going to release a couple of hazes. How are these? Whats the grow time and how is their effect?

Well 420 sale was canceled due to payment processing issues, Seems the processor split on them. They were to release some mainly Sativa Dom strains that should be what your looking for as a heady buzz. The store is currently shut down, while they try and sort out their problemo. Good luck and put out the positive vibes to get the store back up. After all the genetic thievery going on here in the U.S., I would recommend if you find something you like from them, Buy a few extra. They tend to sell out of the prized stuff first, and you just never know how that ball will bounce.

As of right now, they only have 2 strains with high Sativa content:

Cosmic Queen: 70%

Yeah that was my impression. But apparently Sativa/Indica does not necessarily mean that one will be cerebral and other sedative right? Is there any strain by them that feels remarkably cerebral regardless of genetic composition?

Sativas tend to be an uplifting and heady buzz. Indica's are more sedative. The longer you extend your harvest the more lethargic the buzz. You can also choose to harvest earlier, THC is highest when trics are cloudy but not amber. Some may tend to have racey effects from this. Not sure what your gig is. Heres the other thing, its all personal so... Ive grown multiple plants of the same strain, but plants have different expressions. So each has its own uniqueness to it. Unless your growing from clone, your always going to have different expressions from seed. If you want real cerebral get some mushrooms.

I will let you know how the Sativa/Haze plants are buzz wise in a couple of days. They are by far the most Sativa looking I grown from Mephisto, next closest is Cosmic Queen. I expect good things from all 4 Sativa/Haze crosses, but Pink Panama is the most Sativa looking out of all. Super Orange Haze looks more like a hybrid. Mango Smile looks nice as well, but I have to wait another day or so to try some Rosin. Cosmic Queen was energetic and kept me up late if I consumed later at night. Not mind altering, but I am a Super Stoner...so I have a high tolerance. FWIW, set aside a lot of space if you buy Pink Panama, Hubbabubba Haze or Mango Smile. The get very large. Fast and huge. Also, not heavy feeders. Good luck, slow

Very interesting. I totally agree that Cosmic Queen (Fugue State maybe should be added) is the most sativa looking Mephisto (excluding the new ones to be released) but -and that‘s the interesting point- the 3 Queens I‘ve grown gave me a way more indica than sativa like buzz ... trichs were cloudy not amber. I don’t know and maybe I‘m talking nonsense but I‘ve the impression that it also depends on the smoker himself, on his mood or whatever?

Apparently the rule sativa=head indica=body is not all that accurate.
Funny that you mention mushrooms, because Friday I tried a Think Different and the high had a similar vibe to the comeup in mushrooms! That spiritual/creative/alien/euphoric feeling is what I am looking for in cannabis as well
