Im thinking along the same lines ...keep it simple to start and sit back and absorb all this info on here, theres a lot of decent folk all willing to share ,im considering getting another 4 inch carbon filter to help with heat extraction .....not sure if thats the way to go or jist use an inline extraction fan and use a t junction and feed it into the exhaust line.....theres a real good section on the life cycle of an auto ......well worth a readYes farenheight . Im trying to learn as much as i can this 1st grow so that my next grow will be better. I got auto pounder seeds from sensi seed waiting to go in.
Theres a certain irony about it ,i worry about the smell from the cupboard yet smoke green in the house all the time ,maybe need a carbon filter for the living room haha....im a clean freak though so walls are washed regular and place scrubbed out .....no need for me to impose my bad habits on anyone else....missus doesnt smoke at all but loves the smell lolYa i think the inline exhaust fan will work the best. I think the carbon filter is mainly to keep the smell down not sure though. I dont care about the smell its in my basement . Me and the wife are smoking upstairs anyway.
When you get the ventilation sorted out temps should cool down a bit and be able to go back to 100%. Not much affect they are still vegging right? A couple of days at reduced power will not affect final yield that much.Good idea i just lowered it to 50% . Is this gonna affect my yield and growth of the buds? They werent showing any signs of heat stress. I opened the window a little and it dropped down to 83 before i lowered the light to 50. Its real cold outside 31
Herman if you're into flower proper keep humidity around40%&keep air circulating in&above the bud canopy to stop any chance of stale moist humid air giving you budrot by having the humidity high(especially during last couple of weeks when they really filling out&even more importantly when flushing&there full of moisture, get that extraction on max) general rule4me is aim 65/70%Rh or more in veg&once buds are formed bring it lower it down to say 50's then like I say at stage you at now40will cu good[emoji6]They are 65 and 54 days old they are flowering. What is the ideal humidity for the grow area would you say?
That's sounds good ....happy to compare I'm first time so don't have high expectations.... but god loves a fryer and that I am haha...I will post and tag u pics if u want

40%is optimum bud,30%is still well fine so as long as its kept somewhere in that number range30/40 your rocking bro&you'll get to the end without the dreaded rot(tip 4u.most ppl get the rot when they drop there crop as the humidity rockets with all that wet weed usually hanging drying in the tent it was grown in or somewhere in the same room)I learned the hard way&lost around 10oz of blueberry the day after harvest(never happen again tho I was wounded for months.lol.)but it made me realise that flushing is necessary but during a plants last couple of weeks it's not necessary to keep filling em with litres&litres of water with feeds&acids in it every day(In soil anyway)but my friend grows in coco&just pulled11oz dry off 1 incredible bulk photoperiod! But to get that he fed it that much he was literally flushing for2weeks after breeders seed finishing time(aggressivly too)&he still lost around4oz but I figured out he had harvested the main buds to let more light in to fill out some of the smaller bottom stuff that was still capable of going another week&getting bigger mugs but having all that wet bud hanging in there must of rocketed his humidity&it caused some to rot! he thought it was job done&dusted so took his eye off checking temps& humidity!but drying&curing is so so important,so ask everything take it on board put it into practice then you will feel good when you are helping ppl with plant probz,it's more than just a hobby it's a job that u can't stop thinking of too.lol.Peace n respect mate hongkongfuey[emoji6]The plants on page 1 are mine. i got it up to 30% so far .
