I have grown over the years in different systems, have gotten a 1.2-1.2-2 tent and a 1500w cob fixture, don't know much about the light, but so far so good,presently have some plants in different dirts, growing some Kali-Mist, kinda curious on this light . I have ordered a watt checker, presently I'm using 75% of the tents area and it just doesn't seem like a good light spread, the fixture is about 10"-16" rectangle . I am thinking I will need to add more or go hid, I have an magnetic 1000w HPS that i have used in the past but think heat might be an issue.

Have been doing some reading already on the forum, looks like a great place to learn.

hi and welcome leds are a bit like old car radios is it 50 watts rms,peak,tsp or pmpo ?
i guess we will find out when ya get her hooked up the the meter.

I would rather have two lights with less wattage for a better spread, than one light with big wattage.

Welcome to AFN. Not sure on the light you have but some manufactures exaggerate the wattage.

Welcome to AFN @Wsg most of the cheaper led companies highly exagerate the wattage.
With that size of a unit its probably 3-400 true watts.

Welcome, Wsg. You have come to the right place. I have only been here a couple of days myself. The knowledge base rivals anything the Ivy League could muster up. I went with the bigger light in the smaller space for the very same reason, it was Amazon's sale of the week. I'm working toward a perpetual-rotation system. All in good time and one piece after another.
