Hi Auto, did some experimenting and here is what I came up with: This was a quick and dirty deal but I think the amounts are pretty close.
Mix 6 grams of your hydrated lime with 4 teaspoons of white vinegar, it will foam up as the calcium hydroxide gets converted to calcium acetate which is much more soluble in water. Dilute the mixture after foaming stops to make one liter of solution. This should produce about a 3% calcium solution with a pH around 6.5. In my experiment it did not fully dissolve (I have agricultural hydrated lime so there are probably impurities) so you may need to shake it with each use.
Add about 1/2 teaspoon of the liquid per liter of fertilizer water, you can add about the same amount of dry Epsom Salts per liter as well. Always dissolve dry ingredients one at a time in the water before adding liquid ingredients to avoid any unwanted reactions.
