would it be ok to give it some alaska fish emulsion? or some superthrive?

A ph meter is the most important things you should have for a successful grow, try and get one for your next grow.If the new leaves stop getting burned you can add a 1/2 dose of fish food and this will give your nitrogen. It's organic so it takes a few days to kick in.

just an fyi if your using a large rain barrel, treat it with a dunk or two for the larva n stuff so yer not stickin em into yer soil."AFN smoke out"id be using rain water personally if you have it for every water and/or feeding.ya can also bubble it of your so inclined with the 5-1-1 fishies yer planning on using.it'll bubble up cuz of the fish, but it seems to feed quicker imo.sounds like yer off to a great start dude, awesome.

rain water so you know your PH is good and clean of chloramine and chlorine.and like nammy says dude,do yerself a massive favor n spend a little on a decent liquid PH meter so you know where your at with the water you use, buffering (or lack there of)of soil up er down no so forth.

ok im stoned,i'll stop rambling..lol:Sharing One:"AFN smoke out"

i took the bottom of my pot and set it outside to let it dry out and it really perked up.

awesome advice already given but i would like to also add that as a new grower you should also add perlite or one of the perlite substitutes to your next mix as it will help with overwatering. My 2 cents on whats wrong , i would say ph lockout due to low ph levels and lack of oxygen to the roots. peat is very fine with a very low ph of 4 and without a buffer it will drop the ph of the mix hugely. You might also find that the soil mix is just to fine and the roots are battling to breath.
Cheers

Mine do that when they are about to grow, some of them do it every single night a couple of hours before lights out. Don't fall into the trap of thinking it needs a water if the soil is still moist. She will look good in the morning :)
