Sup Marley?.

I cant help with your specific nutes but there are ways to add them in the res .

When I make a fresh res ,I would add anything with cal/mg in 1st (think i said this already?) ...Then any supplements & finally the base nute ,using this to get up to your desired EC . Then every week increase most things slightly ,some keep the same maybe ?,depending on what it is ... but upping the EC by 0.2 every week .So if week 1 was 0.6 EC ,the second week 0.8 & so on .This is a general rule of thumb in DWC I think ?. Seems to work Ok .

Once your plants start to feed a fair bit .This will have an effect on your res.... ie- if the res was a bit to strong then your plant will drink the water faster then take up the nutes .This will make the EC go up ,as more & more nutes are left uneaten while the water goes down .If its to weak she will eat the nutes faster than drink the water & your EC will drop ,due to the fact the foods being consumed faster .This is why the "sweet spot" is so important . If you can get the EC spot on ( "in the zone""sweet spot") & have her drinking & eating at the same rate ,the EC will remain stable throughout the week .Making your life a lot easier !!!. PH will usually sway the oposite way to the EC ,but not always .

EC- rising = top off with plain ph'd water to bring it down 0.1

EC-dropping = ready for a stronger feed .

There are other factors that will sway the EC such as light leaks,slime,algae...but if your sure these are not an issue then its a good guide as to where your plant needs to be in relation to how strong your nutes should be :bong::smokebuds::peace:

UPDATE 9 Days After Transplanting to buckets

UPDATE 9 Days After Transplanting to buckets...

Hey Marley man .I guess your running DWC (oxypot)... is there a root in the res yet ?.Thats when you would count day 1 nutes wise

With RO you prob have the cal/mg spot on ... & always add this 1st to any res mate.

Not sure which one of those nutes is a root stimulator ? (never used them) .but I would go week 2 (day 7) with 7ml cal/mg added 1st ...then full root stim & make the EC up to 0.6 - 0.8(300 - 400 PPM) with your base grow .BUT I wouldn't do that until the root has shown through the net pot & been in the res for a week ?...keep the PH at 5.5 -5.6 for a week or more as well

Any more info is good Marley .. room size . lights ect :peace:

So i'm waiting to drop my seedling starter nutes tell the tap root drops below the net pot into the water? or 7 days after it touches?

I know I'm waiting tell i get my 3rd true leaf that way the 2nd has already developed a fair amount...

I would have some starter nutes in the res already mate... & some root stim if poss ?. Then when you see the tap root in the res ,keep that res going for a week from then .How much air do you have going to each bucket ? They need to least 15 liters per min each really :peace:

Cool thanks for all the help guys :).... I just added 4.5 ml to each bucket w/ 3 gal water of Ancient Earth + Voodoo Juice :)... And 7.5 ml grow as well... Gave it a very light top drizzle w/ the solution. The Critical + as shown its tap root :) Pictures coming soon...

380 gph is what the airpump puts out through 8 outlets so.... roughly 47 for each airstone w/ 2 stones in each bucket? I believe i've calculated this correct. I've got it cranked all the way up...

Any idea's what to do with my free bucket now that i've only got three running this time?

So if the EC drops through the week whats the best way to add those nutes that are missing back in? directly in the buckets or through the refill water??

My PPM seemed really low under 200 PPM after i added those additives and base nutes?

Hey Marley ... a quick sum to convert your gals per hour into liters per min & I get 8.8 ... the min has to be around 15 & ideally you would have 30lpm going to each bucket .So I think you will see growth at a slower rate due to not enough air going to each bucket .I would say you need to double what air you have going in ,its all about oxygen saturation in DWC & without a lot of it things are not optimal .

You will need a spare bucket for res changes mate. Either make a fresh res in the spare & swap lids/plant over...or put the plant into the spare while you clean (with just water) & prep the other & replace ect.

You would make a fresh res the same but 100ppm(0.2 ec) higher & swap, monitor & see where it goes .I guess you could add the base nute to the existing res maybe to up it a bit ,rather then waste a whole res .but remove the plant when you do & make sure its all mixed before putting her back .You wont notice any big drops or rises in EC/PPM for a while ,until they get bigger (Not from them feeding anyway)... If you just have a root in res now ,id make the ppm 300 with RO water (thats around EC-0.6) & PH-5.5-5.6 .

good luck
