Grow Mediums Help Me With First DWC

Gonna attempt DWC for first time. Ive done around 6 auto grows to date. (20+strains&10+breeders). I have a 5 gal DWC bucket on its way. It will be 2 weeks behind 5, 5gal buckets of soil and a few airpots. Im running a 1000 watt HID and 4 CFLS in a 4x4 tent.
First thing first, what bean to drop in riot cube for the DWC? I have a few options...
Fem Seeds
1: Dutch Passion, Think Different
2: Sweet, Dark Devil
3: WOS, AKR
4: Freedom, Smokey Bear
Reg seeds
5: SS, Mi5
6: Highrise, diesel mix
Whatever one you guys think would be my best bet for first try, I will roll with. I will do full journal right here. Thanks

I will be growing 12 TD plants in 5 gallon dwc. ill be posting a video and photo updates when I star in a couple week.s maybe we can learn from eachother when are you dropping your seeds in? I haven't smoked or grow any think differnts but I heard and seen they do amazing in dwc.

I would go with the strain that means the least to you ,or the strain you have the most of: ... or the cheapest ones !.:

Damn I have huge expectations. Lol. If I start regs, would I start several in the single DWC to ensure female? I can't keep them in riot cubes for 20 days so I was jus wondering. Also, is it hard to keep the PH balanced?

I would not bother dropping multi regs in one bucket dude :no:Im probably the only fool stupid enough to try that & dont know how I pulled it of the 1st time .After that it never worked since & ive just built 3 mini buckets with full size net pots for sexing regs individually .Soon as you cull the males the roots die,rot & screw you grow over in a big way "no" Multi pot fems by all means but my advice would be keep it simple for your 1st run & get creative if you dial it in .

1 plant in 1 bucket getting all your tlc will teach you more than trying crazy stuff to start with ...not saying don't bro....but with those high expectations its an idea to give yourself the best chance of success "smile":smokebuds:

DWCocha thanks. I had never thought about that. Many thanks. I will probably do the AKR then. I've grown her a few times and never dissapoints. Soon as I get my harvest out of tent I will put pics of all my seedlings. I'm hoping to beat all of them with the DWC. that's why I ordered it anyway. Lol. I'm still worried about the ph though. If I PH water today in a few days it will generally start creeping up.

If you have the system light tight & plenty of bubbles then the PH will stabilize after a day of two & should stay there ....its may creep up a bit but thats normal ...usually i have to put 1 or 2 drops in every couple of days & its good again .... obviously check as often as you can & adjust if needed .

AKR sound sweet bro... one of the 1st beans I cooked & killed learning actually .will have to try it one day though :smokebuds:

Thanks again DWCocha. Do you use chemical nutes or organic? I'm really wanting to do TD because of the size of them but like u said I may need to wait. AKR is one of the strongest autos I've smoked so not doing TD may not be that bad.

I have humbolt oneness (5-9-4), and big up (33-23). Will those get me through DWC? Do you like using super thrive in DWC? I have a lot of nutes but besides humbolt, but they are organic and for soil.
