I was thinking of going 3x3 for 4-3 gallon smart pots, I'll go 7ft high to help with the heat. I have a 200CFM fan from HTGsupply with a 200cfm filter. On the bottom I was thinking on putting in vents like you see in a home with forced air heat. Those are adjustable to allow more or less air. I was going to do 3 sides with those vents. Any other helpful advice or design flaws please speak up. I'd like to get some input on it. I'm running a 400HPS in this

Is there box gonna be somewhere that you cant have any light leaks or anything like that?
The size sounds real good ad you got some air moving. You may want to get a pretty good reflector to help out as most 400W HPS setups use the same size reflector as a 250w and you end up with a core satuation footprint of about 2 X 2 but thats about all I can think of at this point.

Hey bro check out my tent! I have grew out of some of the most ghetto fuckin cabs you have ever seen back in the day! My lighthouse hydro Mylar tent is 36" tall by 18" deep by 30" wide! 6 " vents on both side to run a 400w cool tube threw! 
its light weight and I love mine! If your looking for something taller then I would suggest the 2ft deep by 4ft wide by 4 ft tall. I have had both. Solid tent! Easy to break down. Fuck building shit! Shit gets old and heavy. Check out my sweet skunk grow in my signature! I got some pics of it in a small closet. Good luck bro and hope this helps.

These are the same guys that make the blackstar LED you'll see mentioned all over these forums. It's worth browsing through their LED section for shits and giggles.
If you're willing to spend a little bit more you could get yourself a Secret Jardin 3x3 DR 90 II, I have the DR 60 II and can tell you they're top notch. Here's a link to the cheapest one I could find.

That tent would make the most efficient use of your 400w hps, if you do it right that tent coupled with your light should give you piles of bud once you get your game up to speed.
As a last note, be careful with that HTGsupply gear. I've heard lots of reports of satisfied customers, but I've heard a couple of complaints about their carbon filters. Just keep a close eye on it and keep some money in the kitty for a quality filter in case is doesn't work. I use CAN filters myself, but have heard many positive reports about PHRESH filters and may be switching to them based on advice from these forums.

I'll have felt seals on all the doors so theres no light or air leaks....If I put this cab in an outside building thats cold, in the teens at night, How can I warm them up??

ERENT Beans. I have no luck with germinating, tried the towel method, the direct into soil. Can't wait to see how many beans I waste out of 21 seeds. I have good luck with big beans, I just found out THINK DIERENT, are small beans norm. Anyone here grow any TD??
