Live Stoner Chat Hi, newcomer here introducing myself

Hi everyone I'm new to the site I've been here about a week or two but have been too busy learning and setting my grow up to introduce myself so now I will, my name is (you don't need to know ) I'm 25 years old from the UK, I've just posted what will be the start of my grow journal, you can find it here, https://www.autoflower.org/threads/my-first-auto-grow.57682/#post-1342572
This is my first personal grow although I do have a small amount of experience as I've helped friends and family members with previous grows so I know a few basics, I'm just here to meet and chat with some like minded people I'm growing for my own supply and basically because I've always loved to watch cannabis grow I think it's an amazing plant and transforms so much in so little time it just mesmorises me. In the future I'll more than likely be pestering people on the scrog (I still don't know what scrog actually means but I know it has something to do with sea of green?) And training the plant, foxtailing and so on but I think I'll get this first one out the way and get my bearings I'm a quick learner so I'm happy to take a lesson off someone. Hi mate, welcome to AFN.
And I'm sure you will get the hang of the names and what stuff, means, hell im still trying to find out what molasses is ( I'm not from around here...) anyway I can tell you SCROG is Screen Of Green.
Any questions you have feel free to ask, I'm from Europe so avoid imperial or US units with me as I suck at math...
Other than that I'm happy to help in what I can.

Welcome to the site! You will surely get the help and knowledge from the fine people of this site......I'm going to slide over and take a look at what ya started.. SOG(sea of green) SCROG( screen of green) scrog you have a net above your plants to where you bend your branches under the net so the canopy stays the same height allowing all the bud sites to get the same amount of light. SOG is where you you grow lots of small plants to fill (I believe a net as well) the canopy

I never quite got the difference between those two... just that Scrog evolved from the sea of green...

Thanks man, I've learned a lot on here over the past couple of weeks, I was in live stoners a day or two ago asking about sick plants as mine got a bit light in colour but I was assured they were fine.

Yeah thanks pal I knew it had something to do with the screen I wasn't quite sure, I've lived in the dark ages for the past 8 years when it comes to growing so I'm still a bit behind. Haha I'm from the UK so I only use metric measurements, it's so much easier. I was hoping you might comment as I've been keeping my eye on your 4 strain grow it's looking awesome and I've learned a few bits off reading it, keep up the great work man.

Thanks man, to be honest I thought that anytime a net got used it was called a sea of green haha my bad I'm pretty sure I've been following one of your grows I get consumed into a thread while I'm smoking a spliff but can never remember how to find it again it would be good if everyone would post a link to their journals I'm always looking for something to read and more things to learn
