Greetings

I am soo glad I found this site! I'v been out of the scene growing wise for years as it was far too risky, smoking street weed until a number of years ago I moved and lost all my contacts half an o a week to nothing....

I moved home with all my growing gear with me (twice) until recently my missus and I bought a house yey! I still have my seed bank in the fridge waiting for the day when I could once again grow. It's been a long time coming, iirc the original lowrider was new and autos were unheard of back then and I am so impressed with how far the breeders have come since then. Previous grows include grapefruit, critical mass, ak47 and my favorite 'ice' by femaleseedsnl. How I miss it so. I have a packet of autos somewhere in box Christ knows where though lol.

Found the site by accident looking for some autos to grow after being gifted a Henry for Christmas by a totally random stranger and the grow muscles really started flexing again. I love this place, it has a great vibe and the forum itself has some great sections and articles. Love the grow battle section! I read Vlads 'mud massacre' thread over new year, very entertaining and FD's tutorials are superb! I've never had a trouble free grow always ending in locked up plants and misery, staring through the grow box door so I'm hoping to give FD's methods a try. I used to be on the hg420 site and despite good advice I still cocked it up.always ended up with a smoke though so can't complain too much.

Born in 74 raised in saarf east Essex UK now living somewhere else lol. Not even decided where I'm going to grow yet but I just wanted to say hi and absorb some of the feel good this place has. Thanks for reading.

Wow, @Oopsy I think you nailed down the story of about half our members. Nice to see you using to forum for your needs. We are a great community, and welcome the new and the elderly, so to speak.

FD is one of the first persons I followed on site as well. He must be a legend now, heh heh.

So I hope to see you around, takes a while to get in the groove, but hang in there.

Live Stoners Gossip is a great thread for BSing and showing off your stuff. Other great give a way's and contests. Takes post counts, so get involved, and you are on your way.

Don't be shy and ask questions a lot. If you need help just ask, and you can use the "Live Help Thread" also.

Thanks for the welcome Eekman :wave: it's done me wonders just knowing I'm going to be making my own bud again, I might not need meds physically but mentally, yeah so much better than happy pills!

First question.. what are the little badges next to my username? Is there a thread showing what they are anywhere as they are a bit small I'm having trouble reading em lol

The badges you have are gone now, I think. But you will have a beginners type (assimilation), and gain a few more quickly as you post more. You also can get them for your grows, and seed companies that are on our site, if you use thier gear, etc.


I think there is a thread somewhere, try using the search mechanism, or maybe...

@Rebel will help us out on the badges stuff.

The itch to grow is strong. I hate to admit it but I'm actually a Gardner to trade it's kind of embarrassing to admit I made a mess of growing a weed lol

@iampepe okdokey no worries, managed to get a vote in for best pic of 2016, absolutely unbelievable plants! I've been looking at a lot of grow pics and I can't believe the amount of growth people are getting in such a short time frame. If I didn't know better I'd say the time claims are fake it's unreal!

She married me stoned (me lol not her ) prefers me stoned. Life is grand I can't wait to try autos the growth rates are UNREAL! Now need to decide on where, I've got an acre and a half to play with and my house isn't near anyone else. The underfloor gap is about a meter, I have a spare room to play with and I have about 6ft of head room in the loft.... decisions decisions..... the spare room is the obvious choice, I have lock on the spare door it's just smelly control I worry about. My last grows I was venting to my room and tbh it stunk the house out, I'm looking to outdoor vent, it's my house so I I can cut holes wherever the fleck I like. I want a greenhouse or a polytunnel but the locals are kinda nosey. The local attitude is 'drugs' are the spawn of Satan but they all drink like fish ffs lol. The spare room has two hatches to the eves but I can't find any gaps to vent outdoors I'm thinking I might cut my way out. I have 200w cfs or a 400w mh/hps setup thinking about using both ;-) I only need a quart a week tops so I'm not too fussy. I'll start a grow thread rather than clog this section up.
