Lighting HLG 96 Elite engine

I’m a fairly new grower and definitely new to the forums. I’m running Cobb’s right now but just picked up two HLG 96’s. I’m planning on running them each with a HLG 185 driver. Any thoughts? Anyone else running the HLG 96’s and whats your experience with them?

I too am running Cob's right now and was looking at the HLG 96 to add to them. Are you running the Cob's on their own drivers like the autocobs? That's how I have mine but was looking at trying to run 2 of these in series and make a bracket to hold both of them and use either the HLG 185 or 240 driver. Then I keep thinking maybe I'll just do a V2 Rspec & slate 2 QB instead. Too many options and not enough cash right now.

I was running 2 auto Cobs, 1 from optic 1 and the second I purchased from amazon. I’m happy to say I’m running two HLG elite 96’s. I’ve never been happier with these powerful monsters. I’m running them with their own HLG 185 driver not fully powered. But I’ve never seen anything brighter in my 4x2. Plants are living the light

@ELgrower03 did you get them with the lenses? I saw on HLG's site they have a DIY 2 elite kit with lenses but just the elites by themselves don't come with them. Just wondering if you need them or not. So now I just need to make up my mind to go that way or a quantum board.

Unfortunately I didn’t, I also noticed them after I purchased mine. Wasn’t able to find them for sale anywhere

Ok. I don’t think HLG sells them but I did see a link for them. Although I saw where someone did buy them and the gaskets for them and it was like $30. I’m thinking I’ll just run them without as mine just showed up yesterday. I’m going to make a frame to hold both and the driver, similar to HLGs Elite 360 kit.
