I have a plant that's 10 weeks old today, how do I go about harvesting? E.g. flushing and dark period

Hey man. Lookin real nice there. Looks like you might be close to harvest time. Do you have anything to look at the thricomes (digital magnifier, jewelers loupe, etc)? That's the best way to check. You'll harvest when there's the right amount of amber thricomes you want. Less amber means more of a head high and more amber is more couch lock, generally.

In terms of how... There's really no wrong way. Are you using paper bags to dry, or just hanging them?

Thanks Raoul, yeah i have a microscope but still not 100% sure what cloudy trichs look like, 1st timer here lol she was advertised as a 8-9 week strain now on week 10 so cant be much longer i really want to know how to prepare for harvest, like when to start the flush?

Still sorta learning this one myself. I'd say you still have a few weeks, but things sometimes happen really fast so don't quote me on that.

For drying, neither method is particularly better, though lots of people have their opinions. It's more a preference thing/ what kind of space you have.

This is just my humble opinion.............I would go another week at least. When the bottom leaves look real shitty, it is usually about right. 10 weeks sounds early, yet the pics look quite advanced.

I harvest and trim then hang upside down on the stems in a cool dark place until dry and the stems break with a snap. Then I put into mason jars and burp them three of four times a day for a good cure.

Personally I don't flush or go for a dark period. But many will argue with me on that. So be it. No one is right or wrong. Just lots of opinions.......eP.

Brilliant thanks epenguin checked on her last night and she's still swelling those buds beautifully trichs are turning cloudy now but a good 40% are still clear so I'll leave her a while longer i think I'll be drying and curing the same
