New Grower How Many Grows A year?

I been doing some planning out, and i plan on growing all year next year to fine tune my growing skills, i was wondering how many grows a year most you guys can do? im looking for one at a time beacuse i know some people can run 2-4 separate grows at a time. im coming up with 4 a year if everything falls just right everytime. anyone got an idea of what to expect growing for a whole year at a time? all i know it will be alot of work and timing will have to be on point if i want to get 4(5 if you count my current grow but it will be done before 2014) grows in by 2015. thanks for any input!

5 per year if you can finish in 70 days....easy if you know how.

It can be done easily but you need to plan seed germination in advance with previous harvest in mind. A couple of cheap T8 fixtures work well to start seeds a month in advance in your closet. A farily inexpensive T5 will allow you to veg most plants for 4-6 weeks as well. When you can cut out the veg stage and just use your main tent or grow room for the flowering period you can accomplish your goal plus some. You are only looking at 8-10 weeks in most flowering stages of photos and less if you do autos so you have the good possibility of 5 photo harvests per year if planned properly or even more with autos.

If you go with DP strains and switch to bloom 10 days after showing sex then you should be golden ... no need to retard the flowering process as they bloom and grow at the same time. Hope this helps

You know i wouldnt really have a clue how many grows i do a year.... When im growing Autos i have them at all ages and as soon as anything is a couple of weeks from finishing i start more...lol..

strain dependent

until recently i ran 2 flowering rooms , 8 week strain , rooms offset 1 month/4 weeks

once fully set up with a mother and mother/clone room along with 2 off set flowering rooms , 1 every month = 12 grows a year , cut that in half if only running one flowering room = 6

allow for any issues or a bit longer flowering strains and if only one room 4-5 grows

but yeah for the last buncha years i peaked at 12

oh yeah. I just pulled my 4 Star Ryders ( incredible smell!!) and have 4 NL Autos about 5 weeks along. I feel so lonely not haveing any new babies going. I want to do a full 10 count of the Star Ryders that I have here just waiting for me. And then I have other seeds in line to start as well (Autos and Photos) Not enough, room or time for what I want to do. Fricking patience and priorities suck.

Actually if you time it right using Autos, you can pretty much set it up to have as many harvests as you want. Since you can run your lights at 18/6 or 20/4 the entire time, you can have plants at different stages under the same lights. So if you have room for 12 2 Gallon Pots, start 4 each every thirty days and have a constant plant, grow then harvest. You may be able to have up to 15 pulls a year of 4 plants each... 60 plants a year!
