Indoor Humidifiers,anyone?

Has anyone tryed these kinds of humidifiers? Was thinking of trying one and this one can be adjusted for output level.:smokebuds:

I have one of those in each of my kids room. Never used it for growing cause I havent had a problem but its working great form them. Very user friendly. I don't know your location but alot of them at Wally world are going on clearance right now. You might be able to find a hell of a deal on the same model.

If you're going to get a humidifier, spend the extra 25 and get a better one. I bought a cheap one similar to that from Walgreens and it was horrendously annoying. So, then I bought a 50 dollar model and it worked great.

Hey Nam i got from wally world Vicks model v745a $30.00 has two settings and auto shut offhave it in 2x4x5 lighthouse and usually run it on high setting and keeps it from 37 to 50%
after about the 7th day it shut itself off in the middle of the night still half full of water,after checking our water is so hard calcium had built up all over the heating element and caused it to shut off cleaned with clr and was good for a few more days just have to keep an eye on buildup if you have hard water but i also found one at lowes made by Holmes model hwm6008 also in the 30 dollar range also has two settings and auto shutoff i have it in a 4x4x7 lighthouse and run it on low and keeps humid at 34 to 50 the heating element in this one seems to have a teflon coating on it and the calcium just peeled off of it without any clr or soaking will last 10hrs on low setting and around 8 hrs on high both units:smokebuds:

Hey pher2 can you use a cool mist humidifer i thought it had to be warm and the only problem with filters is the cost to replace them i have a cool mist we use in our room
for moisture and after a few days the filter needs changed or replaced and we didnt run it 24/7 like i do in my tents.but i didnt know cool would work in tent:thumbs:

Yes filters can be a pain in the ass! Truthfully, I'm not sure if it has to be warm or cool mist specifically but I always thought that warm mist had more chance of growing bacteria and mold.

Does anyone have any thoughts on warm or coldhumidifers would like some input on that :groupr is that another thread
