Not really. Those lines going from the top off to the individual buckets aren't big enough. My CC system uses 2" PVC. Plus they would need to be rerouted so that they go from one bucket to the next, to the next, and back to the top off res with a water pump somewhere in the line. It would probably be easier and cheaper just to build one from scratch rather than trying to modify that one.

Ok. Im within two weeks of the launch date. 1000watt hps would fall short of my footage so im going with 2 600 watt hps.I saw a few journals where they hooked up computer fans to the light i guess?? for cooling. I have two nice computer fans i can use, any tips or links on how to do this? And my pipes between buckets should be 2''? including from the main res? and do i need pipes going to then coming from, or just the one line to each bucket?

But from the questions you are asking now, if you continue with your timeline, you are sure to have problems.
You seem really unprepared to try to be up and running in two weeks.


Have you looked over the cch2o site muddy referred you too?
Have you determined a system that looks like something you could work with?
Have you looked over the parts lists of any of the systems you like or could work with?

Seems like a big investment to rush into.

I just hate to see what looks like the beginning of months of frustration.

you should watch this video. This guy is a top notch grower with killer, DIY RDWC systems. This is a how to build video. Its a 2 res+control system, but you'll get the idea and easy to add 2 more. This is a very nice, clean build.

Just getting pointed in the right direction man. I'm pretty confident in my abilities. i might not know everything but I feel like I know enough to build a simple RDWC and be successful. I've looked at the site, yes. I value opinions, and if im unsure about something, even i i know its simple, im still going to ask about it.
