Hello All,

I'm currently underway with my first grow!

My Setup:

2.5'x2.5'x6' Custom Tent
400CFM Intake with iPower Carbon Filter
4x26w CFL & 2x45w CFL for seedling+
400w Lumatek E-Ballast, dialed down to 250w when it's installed.
400w Eye Hortilux Super HPS Bulb

Fertilizer: FFOF with Perlite mixed in

Water: Sky Juice aka Rain Water

Nutrients: FF Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom

Ambient Temp: 82f 75%RH

I plan on running some A/C to combat heat and humidity.

Seeds were soaked for 24h, placed in paper towel. I didn't wait for the tap root to show, but the seed cracked, so I popped her in the soil.

Day 6:

I have been moving my plant outdoors during the day for some free lighting, when its indoors it is sitting directly under 1 26w CFL.

Comments, words of encouragement, and feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Good luck with your grow! Glad to see you getting everything up and going bro.

Day 9:

Everything looks to be going great so far. There is a bit of an upward curl on the leaves, no discoloration though. Should I back the CFL's off a bit and also to let it give her a bit more of a stretch?

Yes move that light, soon she's gonna grow fast and you don't want to burn her.
P.S. Don't feed her for a while seeing how your growing in FFOF.

good lookin Little ladies. Yeah, I back the lights off a bit. Yeah, what Nam said. FF OF is a hot one, shouldn't have to give nutes for 3-4 weeks!!! good Karma your way!

Thanks guys.

I backed the light off a bit to let her stretch, she is out side at the moment in the shade. I give her a bit of late afternoon sun, then back in the tent.

The rain water is a bit filtered, it's from a cistern. I don't plan on adding any nutrients for another couple of weeks.

I'll have some more pics tomorrow.

Day 22:

Bit of an absence from around here, but she is still alive!

Had some issues with my rain water, someone decided to add some chlorine to our cistern which has really thrown off my PH of my water. Currently I am using store bought water, and everything is back to normal.

I also had some issues around day 10 or so with a Calcium deficiency. One of the first major leaves was curling and starting showing dead spots. https://www.autoflower.org/f74/self-diagnose-your-plants-basic-deficiencies-list-11.html came as a huge help. I started foliar feeding with CalMg and it seemed to perk up and resume normal growth. Some leaves are still deformed from the deficiency, but all new leaves are nice and healthy.

Two days ago the 250w HPS went in the tent, AC has been running to keep temps down. Two nights ago it hovered right at 87, but last night it was in the 90-91 range. I am going to fool with the temps today and try to reconfigure my tent for some better ventilation. She will be basking in the sunlight most of the day, and has been since she started, more and more sunlight has been added, and shielded during 12pm-2pm so she doesn't burn.

Day 37:

Everything has been going great so far. I have a bit of a deficiency at the moment, and I am going to post in the Infirmary to try to get it sorted out. She is not as big as most Think Different's I've seen, but for a newb, I'm not expecting first time to go off without a hitch.

She has now been completely indoors the past 2 weeks, under 250w Dual Spectrum HPS. Tons of bud sites have grown and I have LST'd the main stem to get a more even canopy to let some of the side branches to get more light. A/C is on and its keeping the floor of the tent at about 77 degrees 66RH, right at the canopy the temp, in direct light, is in the high 80's. I hope I will be good with the roots in the cooler temps.

Here are some pics, and the deficiency issue.

She was cut down on Day 75. Trimmed, paper bagged and currently drying. I should have final weight in the next couple of days!

Thanks!
