In need of help ( first timer )

Get a pipe cleaner, or an actual hair wrap, gently roll the leaves lengthwise, not tightly, and secure. Let's the light past without giving up the leafs energy.

I just tucked a few down for now, I am still worried about her, she just isn't getting any height, I realise I gave her the first LST and have a bunch of new growth showing, but I thought she would be bigger by now. also not sure what is going on with her in her veg state. Added some pics again.

Okay, so I just removed both supports from the first LST, The purpleish look underneath on some of these stems are making me worry. I'm not sure it is supposed to look that way, I had a small leaf near the base of the stalk yellow and break up and not sure why either. The rest of the plant I think looks okay, as a first timer, I am having to keep telling myself to stay away and leave it alone, it knows what to do on its own. Then the other side of my mind keeps telling me, to keep checking it. So I got her up where I could look at her eye level and did some pics, tell me what you think. I see all these new little grows and am surprised but still cant figure out why she is so short, just barely over the top of the bag. So while I had her up, I removed the wire I was using to move big fans down out of the way and took all supports and restraints off, want to see what happens over the next week. I wasn't sure, but it almost looks like it has some prebud happening, but again, I am unsure.

@High'n'Dry , @LittleMT , @Waira What do you all think, she bushed up a good bit in the last week after I did a LST for 4 days, I removed it to see if she would grab some height. must be a dozen little new growths under the main fans, and some on top too. She looks like a bush vs a stalk plant. Mainly worried since she was started at the end of Jan, begining of Feb at 2 months old I would have thought she would be much bigger. What do ya think?

Try not to worry too much about the height of the plant. There are several factors that can contribute to the structure but genetics will play a big roll in it and there’s nothing you can do but encourage growth in the way you want. She looks pretty healthy from here now, I would keep up with the LST to help her stretch out a bit. You have a lot of lights surrounding that plant and each type will have its own specifications so you have a couple of more variables there also, then there’s bugs which you’ve already controlled. All of these things will affect the plant.
For a small grow space you have a large pot. The large pot can be troublesome for us new growers in terms of watering and establishing the plants’ root system. You might want to scale the pot size back to say 1-3Gallons and that should help in quicker growth and a shorter grow cycle.

Please know that my comments are made with only positive intentions. Every person looking in on your grow wants to see you succeed and this online community is a wonderful resource of all kinds with one common interest. I’ll be following along with your progress and looking forward to see your harvest. Best of luck!

@Beerhunter CDN , Funny thing, I had her planned for a 5 gal and not that 10 gal. but they sent me the wrong one, so I was like okay she can just cut loose in the 10 until I order another. Turns out yeah I should have waited. My soil is fairly nice, I can squeeze it into a ball and then just move my fingers and it breaks away nicely. I appreciate the advice I really do. The LEDs that I have running, I wasn't sure of and they aren't very powerful 2X45 watts and a 30 watt and my little 10 watt gooseneck. The CFLs @ 100 Watt is the main brightness, maybe I should have just run 4 CFL.

Well, there have been some recent CFL only grows I have seen that have performed remarkably well. I think the key for CFLs is keeping an optimal distance all the time as they don’t have much intensity unless they are close.
To be honest, when I started looking into growing I felt it should be quite easy. The reality is that it is easy to keep the plant alive but to get a good, quality harvest from them takes a bit of work for sure. I’m only just drying my first grow now and I’m happy with my harvest but I want to do better the next time. So, I check out other grower journals and learn from them, the good and the bad.

I was going to mention that I made a mistake when I ordered my smart pots and got 7 gallon pots but then read that they might be on the large side for autos and bought 3 Gallon pots. Also, one of my best plant yields came from a 12” tall x 16” wide plant, no topping just some defol and LST to spread it out as she was extremely bushy. The buds on that plant smell unbelievably good too, so I have high hopes for her being my favourite meds.

from what I have been reading up, there may be some question to the validity of genetics claims, because lately there has been complaints of this genetic line on a few webpages stating same issues that I am having, so only time will tell at this point. I hope she goes full budzilla on me and turns out well. She seems to be starting to grow up more a bit.
