In need of help ( first timer )

LOL. You’re worse than I am! Actually, I have a Mephisto Genetics order on its way that will add another 15-20 seeds to my growing collection, so I could be worse. Is there a Seed Hoarders Anonymous?

@Beerhunter CDN Couldn't help myself, I wasn't going to buy more. My first order was from GYO, then I placed a second order, the one I'm waiting on now 70 regs and 5 autos. Then I placed that order with HDSC for the 5+5 special I got x4 and waiting on them, now I♥GM has auto's on special and I had to tell myself no... but I posted in seedbank review so others knew about it. So I'm done for now, 100+ plants will do me fine for quite awhile.

As of the Malana Bomb, this plant still has me worried with lack of any height, it acts as if I topped it with its bush shape growing vs stalk. I took some time this morning and check all the new little grows that are started and popping on the stems, it has 34 now, but like I said in the other post this plant is only about 7 inches tall. The genetics that were represented with this said it usually grows easy and fast to about 2 ft to 3 ft in 10-12 weeks.

I’m sure neither of us are done buying seeds at this point. Lol. It’s hard to say what might have stunted that plant. I know I stunted all of mine at about week 2 and it slowed them right down. I think they finished healthy but undersized and a bit under developed. Regardless, I’ve learned from my first timer mistakes and I’ll be sure not to make those mistakes again. Run the Malana Bomb as best you can and focus on the Fruit Punch. If the fruit punch behaves the same way then you know there is a common factor causing it, if it doesn’t then you can just chalk it up to a learning experience. I definitely wouldn’t give up on it though. Like I mentioned, I had a really short plant produce very well for its size, and in my limited experience, very good quality buds.

@Beerhunter CDN UhOh, I got mail today and guess what I got?

That's the thing, the auto is already out performing the Malana. That Malana Bomb grew slowly out of the ground and it is the same exact soil. I didn't feed it or water it at all(same with FPA) and after 9 days it finally started to come up from the ground. The FPA popped out of the ground the same day I planted it.

I got a new supplement light with a pair of Cree's on a gooseneck, its not the big Crees but they are nice and powerful, and the framework is heavy duty I am impressed with the quality for under $30 (Was a daily deal $10 off). I don't know about the claims on it, but the light is really decent for being a supplement light.

Ok now I have some of my leaves turning yellow just at the tips, I haven't feed or watered her in a couple days, I thought she was starting to show some nice growth and a large amount of new sprouts, and getting very bushy.......and now this. Any idea on the very tips yellowing only found 4 so far, but do not want it to become a bigger problem.

The tips turning is usually a sign of nute burn. How old is your plant now? What concentration and pH are you feeding her and how often? Are you watering to runoff? If you aren’t watering to run off you can have some nute buildup in the soil causing the burnt tips. On a side note, your Fruit Punch might be getting a little lanky so you can just pile up a bit of soil to support it. Otherwise, she looks great!

I think at this point you are taking the seed lead. I just need to stop looking at them. At this point I’m about done with drying my harvest and I’ll be jarring them tomorrow and taking some weights. After that it’s time for CBD Charlotte’s Angel, Double Grape, and Hubbabubbasmelloscope, with a spot reserved for the coming grow battle starting next month.

Might be nute burn, I just fed her a day or two ago, I am not watering to run off. I water every couple of days about 1/2 to 1 quart, and Feed once a week of the Adv Nut G/M/B. Since I posted I did a soil test and my soil is at around 7.4PH, I think its a bit high. I gave her some water after I posted just before dark cycle for 4 hrs. I ran the water at 5.8 to try to push through the soil and try to prevent a build up or lock out. I do not plan on giving her anything else until next week at the earliest, I will only continue my foliage spray of 7.0 water with a few drops LS in it. Also the soil I modified was FFOF and I was just recently told that it can spike Nitrogen levels as it breaks down, maybe what is happening, whatever it is, it is just beginning or is mild as only 4 leaves are showing just the bare tips yellowing, so I want to correct before it gets much worse.

Also @Beerhunter CDN when my last order arrives this week, it puts me at 154 seeds (79 of them autos)

Okay, so I will now never use Fox Farm Ocean Forest or any of their products again, the soil apparently has wood and debris in it that is causing what is known as Oregon Humongous Fungus to grow
on the wood particles because the were contaminated prior to arriving with some sort of underground mushroom, I pulled three out of the soil! and it has white fibers all over it running in streaks. I found it last night and ran over to my local nursery to show and ask them what it was, I had never seen it before. Apparently its a tree killer as well. Now I don't know to see how the plant does or scrap the whole couple of months. I cleared out the soil all around and I used some fresh to replace it not the FFoF! That bag went into the garbage can. Could this be what stunted the growth? I found a lot of white roots, even close to the surface and was very careful not to damage or move any more than I had to. I hope this improves the plant since I removed it all. They were about golf ball size. Lemme know what you think. Sorry no pics of the fungus, i rushed to get it outside as fast as I could. Picture shows what I found in the dirt.

@Daxxor Do you know the EC or PPM of your well water? I know you mentioned the pH of the water at 7. I didn’t mention anything about your soil choice as it didn’t appear to be causing a noticeable problem. I have heard Waira and others mention pH swings from FFOF during bloom due to breakdown of its components at about that time and I think you are about there with it. This was the first I’ve heard of inherent fungus problems.

I’m not too sure where to go from here with it. I grow with coco coir so my knowledge of soil is only from reading. I’ll see if we can get some folks in here to get some opinions as I know Waira is in high demand on AFN. @Mañ'O'Green @namvet25 @High'n'Dry
