Im going to be using a 2x4x6 tent for the first time. Was wondering if I will need an inline fan/carbon filter setup for a 2x4x6, if so 4" or 6" inline setup? Thanks in advance,Good morning AFN:pass:

No smell, no tell, no sell.

If you want to keep it a secret, keep suspicion down ...then yes a fan/filter is a must, some of these strains can be very aromatic...lol. I would get the 6" fan/filter with speed controller, I dont think the 4" is going to be enough, for air exchange or possible heat issues.

A 4" fan/filter will work, however, I would buy the 6" fan/filter if it's in your budget. The larger fan/filter will give you more wiggle room and will help serve any possible expansion you might take up later.

Thank you @AutoWonders :vibe:!!

If you can I'd go with a 6" filter/fan with speed controller that's what I'd go with. No smell, don't tell. I went with a 6" fan/filter but I'll be exhausting outside and I'm out pretty rural so not to much to worry about.

I had a few stealth grows and learned that it is always better to have a size or two larger fan-preferably a box fan as it moves more air quieter- than one that just suits your requirements.

Reason being is that you have to run a smaller vent full blast to get the required air circulation.

300cfm fan running at 100% = 600cfm fan running at 50% = 1200cfm fan running at 25%.Less % less noise.

In my last setup I used a 10" 2500m3 box fan running at 20%.It was dead silent. The clip on fan and the dehumidifier was the loudest part of the system.

Fan controller wise I would only strictly recommend the hybrid ones with the stepping transformer in it as the cheaper PWM ones (ramair pro fan controller) will make your fans BUZZ and HUM that is anything but stealth at night when a dropping pin is audible.

I had the smscom hybrid 4a.

It might be a huge expense so I would recommend another trick, get an autotransformer. Its a massive transformer with a massive dial that you can set between 0V-240V.This attributes to 0%-100% power. Cheaper, easier, stealthier!

I would recommend you to use LEDs as that way you wont have much heat to worry about so you wont need much ventilation plus your leccy bill wont go up much either.

My latest stealth with the 10" box fan+autotransformer and a telos 0008 in a 1.2x1.2x2m tent using 32ladies in 6L soil pots surprised me with 12Oz dry at 20h light/day using only a total of 300w.(0.3kW x20hx 17.854p=1.07£/day x 90day=90quid~3.7£/g)

Good luck and think long term.Dont buy cheap stuff quickly
