Got my seeds last night, single seed centre is great! Wide selection, good prices, respond to your emails immediately and shipping was supposed to be 7-15 days and I got it in 7, was discreet as well. I germinated this Royal Queen white widow auto last night and I just want y'all's opinion on if it's ready or not. Most people say wait till the taproot is out...but it kinda is and I feel like once it's cracked it's gonna grow. I think it's ready what about you guys? image.jpgimage.jpg

Hey man like realcarlos said welcome! And I would also wait another 24hrs until its got about a quarter of an in tail and then your good. But a good sign if its popping its head out in under 24hrs of getting to you!

i soak in a shot glass of plain water untill it sinks, then i plant in the soil and wait. 100% germination so far, ive never understood the paper towel method, why wait untill the taproot comes out? why not just plant it after its absorbed water, you still have to wait the exact same amount of time lol

Hey and welcome!
I have planted all of four plants, so take this for what it's worth!
I put it in water, when it looks like yours i pop it in the soil about 3/8 inch in and lightly cover it. Then I use a spray bottle to mist the spot. 100% or 4 outa 4 for me. I have read that too long on paper toweling and the tap root produced little hairs that will tear and stress the seedling....
Peace and happy growing

hi the paper towel method use when the seeds are 3y+ old. and over time peeps have got it in there herd that is how you do it but i say wot works for best keep to it (happy growing) safe

If you want, you can plant it now. Honestly i don't think it makes much of a different but it's up to each individual's method as long as you're comfortable with it. Goodluck!

I plant when it pops, and try for no more of the taproot is showing than in your photo (1mm-2mm). I don't like having a lot of tap root because it feels like I'm messing with something I shouldn't (delicate).
