I have a 2x24 t5 lighting 2 amnesia haze auto's, will this be enough to take it through to harvest?

Yes it will but the yeild will not be all that massive. Learn how to train them plants of yours. Low stress training/bending the plants over to expose more bud sites or topp them and make them produce more budding shutes. A longer veg time will help them also to increase your yeild. Good luck...K.I.M.

Try adding some side CFL lighting to help increase them yeilds of yours. Really does help, I grow with CFL's and like em but will upgrade to LED's soon enough.

Great advice, thanks I've been looking everywhere for some knowledge on my lighting but none found until this sight :D This is my first ever setup and I'm uber keen to learn.

Just a few pics if anyone's interested, they are 10 days old and the temperature/humidity is perfect. Will keep you all informed :)

IMO T5's aren't strong enough as a stand alone light fixture. I have a 4 bulb ho 24" t5 fixture and a 8 bulb 23w(rated100w) cfl fixture and the plants always bend to the cfl's. The light is much brighter from the cfl's.

Cheers John, I'll use this info on my next lot as this one was a unprepared, is there a certain wattage per plant that you could recommend for a 2 plant grow?

t5's are awesome lights for veg/small plants , buying the quick connect reflectors for them helps A LOT !

but as k.i.m and johnhenry mentioned , it wont be enough as the plant grows bigger/taller

lst the plant if your experienced enough as a grower and ready to give it a try , and get some cfl's to hang half way down the plant on its sides , you can make your own diy cfl lights cheap , dollar store extention cords with the female end cut off then bare the wires and attach them to a 2 dollar socket that you screw the cfl into and poof , hanging cfl for approx 6 bux

peace

I've heard they're the best for vegging, thanks for the homemade cfl light tips, veeeeery useful. Will changing the bulb to red for my t5 work well in flowering also?

To be fair, it's not surprising that the 184w CFL fixture is much brighter than 96w of T5. I've grown plenty of autos with nothing but T5 from beginning to end, including some that produced several ounces. You just have to use a larger fixture with more watts if you want larger plants. I use smaller pots & keep the lights right on them to avoid stretching, and get dense bud sites even down low on the plants without any supplemental lighting. These were grown under a 4' 6 bulb T5 producing 324w (and cost me about $12 per month to run):
