:check: sure would be nice to have a diy LED subform. i'm building a pair of 50 W LEDs to supplement my existing 300 W unit.

A forum to share ideas on building LED lights would sure be great. Marijuana growers are basically do-it-yourselfers anyway and I'm sure there would be a lot of interest in the subject.

I've done some research and there is not as much information as you would think on this. All in all, it seems like more work, and expense than its worth. An option that
I'm working on however is, to use small LED spotlights. I've gotten some awesome deals on ebay on them. I have 6 6400k white and 2 red/blue. All are 15 watts each ( 5x3watt LEDs ) I'll be mounting them in a box I'm making. with fans in one end to draw air for cooling. I'm looking at socket options right now ( to purchase when I have more money...lol ) I wish I'd bought the GU10 base lights as the have smaller, less bulky base options.
