New Grower is this normal??

Hello all! Newbie here. Not sure if I have an issue or not.

My set up:

1 Grapefruit Punch Autofem
1 Sweet Afghan Delicious Autofem
3 gallon pots
Jungle Growth Waterwise with 70/30 perlite (rinsed)
Distilled Water
1000W MH light about 16-18 inches from plant on 16/8 schedule (so they only run when im home)
Temps between 75-80 mostly

No nutes, only watered once, on day 6-7 since emerged.

Is the color normal or too yellow?

Any help would be appreciated.

How far would you suggest? I was trying to avoid stretching. I also have a fan blowing all the time light is on.

The soil feels moist but not wet. Just the top soil is dry. I read not to mist, due to droplets and burn issue.

Do you think the color is normal? Its a light green/yellowish color.

I tell ya man, a couple Cfl's for the first couple weeks would be good. I'd move it up to where the light is not so intense on the seedling. That's a heck of a lot of light.How big is your grow space???

Cut the fan and move the light up. It's too young. Let it grow, you can deal with the stretch if it happens, heat stress will mess up your plant

Actually, don't cut the fan, just don't blow directly on the plant

The fan is on low, not blowing it around just a light breeze. The did the hand test and it seems ok. The fan is angled to blow hot air back and out of the room while bringing cooled air in.

The room is a large closet with a big vent plus the fan.I was wondering if the Jungle Growth was too hot maybe??

What soil are you using?? Large is? About how big is it? Depending on your soil You don't have to feed them so soon. The hand test is for heat. It's how bright the light is I'd be worried about for a seedling at this stage.
