Second grow of autoflower from growers choice seeds. This is a gorrila glue in ocean forest, 5 gallon smart pots, 20 hr led lighting, ph at around 6.3-6.5, foxfarm trio at half dose every other watering, with temps in the low 80s. Question, I have yet to have a successful harvest. These plants are about 6 weeks old. Are these preflowers or a deficiency? They just look weak to me. Or is this an awesome plant and I'm just an impatient newbie?

It's hard to tell under the blurple light, try taking some pictures under natural lighting.

As the other poster said...turn the lights off and use room lighting and take another picture but I will say this: FFOF is pretty strong on nutes...why are you adding more at this point?

I've heard of folks never adding nutes or ONLY adding some bloom nutes late in the grow. I'd be more worried about over feeding than anything else. I know that my plants got over fed more than a few times and I'm growing in a 50%-50% Mix of FFOF and Pro-Mix (nute-less)

Thanks for the reply. I just added some better photos. I read somewhere that around week 5 you can stay slowly adding nutes while using ffof. I'll cut back completely now

I would stop the nutes for now. Others who are more knowledgeable can correct me.

What are the white specks? It looks like white stuff all over your leaves...is it just trichomes in the flash from the camera?

I found afew pests so I sprayed an organic pest control that dried a little white

I would not feed them anything but water(no nutrients) except calmag if using r/o water for 1st 4-6 weeks. FFOF is loaded and known to be "hot" soil. Many folks here in the infirmary are using it, that's why they're here. When did you start the trio? They look like they are drooping, maybe over or under feed. I would do just the water for a little bit and see if that helps. A lot of other factors as well. How much do you feed, low 80's is starting to get hot, what is RH? What distance are the lights? If your air is dry and hot your plants wont transpire, if they dont transpire they will uptake more water, sound like you maybe have to much nutrients which with uptake of more water means not a deficiency but a toxicity. I am having this problem too, I lowered nutrients and raising humidity. If your under 60-70% RH with those temps good chance that's occurring. I am still learning and am no expert so look in to it. I'm starting to see some improvement but just started the process. At 6 weeks preflower should be almost done, they looked delayed a bit to me. Your Ph could be a little higher like 6.8 as well i think FFOF sweet spot is 6.8 says on bag it phs soil to 6.8. If ph is to low wouldn't absorb nutrients as well. @Mr. Weebles
