I'm coming to that reality as well, I thought 14 weeks was more than long enough but I'm starting to doubt that they'll be done by my deadline. How tall did ur plants end up getting? My same plants (10 weeks in total) have easily eclipsed 3', wondering if there was a secret to keeping them shorter without giving up yield... I'm sure I'm wishing for a little too much there, but it seems like urs are fatter and short than mine are... Maybe being mine are autpflower and i just simply can't control that type of thing?

If it were me I'd cut the top 'V' off both plants and start them drying ... I would drop the lights closer to the remaining buds and once the top colas are dry and into jars I'd begin selectively harvesting any bud that looks ready ... I honestly can't tell if they are at their peak but your earlier close up bud shots looked ready to me . I don't think you're too early, I'd say you're inside the harvest window ... By harvesting this way you'll learn if you prefer the high from older buds or less mature buds ... then the next time you grow it you'll already know ... just don't smoke it all in one weekend !!

It doesn't matter if you just watered them ... some people flood them for a day or two before harvest to shock the plant into producing more trichs ...

I didnt plan on the shortness bro,it just happened.Maybe they are 2 feet tall but i did lst them ,so one of the was alot taller..Maybe its my led and the distance i had it on..about 50-60 cm

I harvested the top half of the plants..lowered the light as suggested and now i will dry em..they look like the bottom is alot more then the tops!Thanks guys!Chester? :smokebuds:

I took more of the plants down today as they dried from the water and some buds looked ready with a good 15%-20% amber.Gave them another flush with about 12 liters of water and i am thinking of taking the down completely when they dry which should be Thursday and Thursday they are exactly 11 weeks.here some pics of harvest.the slightly lighter color buds have been drying for 4 days now.I dare to say the the bottom growth is getting fatter then the top! it looks like its gonna be an excellent yield.. :group:

I know you said you were taking a break but after this grow was so successful I'll bet you're thinking about growing soon ... What do you think it will be and when ... How long do you think this harvest will last you ?

i wish i could grow as soon as these finish,but the weather won't be on my side..summer is nearly here and there is no way i can get my temps right unless i use an air conditioner.And that won't be very economical!well i can sure get by with 14g-21g a month so if i get 4 zips ,i'll be good for a good 4 months give or take!!Since ill be taking the whole thing down soon,I will follow your advise chester and give them a few days in darkness.As for my next grow,i really don't know,i have a log of everything i done so i don't forget , but for sure i will be growing jock horror again!Smells and looks amazing!And from what i hear the smoke is not bad at all!
