Outdoor Joint Dr, Chronic. UK Green house grow.

Looking good zippy, you just had just enough room for that plant. A couple of posts back it looks like its trying to break out the top lol

Yea last few days have been beautiful with the sun shining. I hope a sign of things to come. I dunno what that white stuff is though so cant help you there, is it only in one area or spreading? I would at least try and wipe it off and hope you find out what the cause of it is.

Yeah it was just the right height. Any more and I would have had to raise the greenhouse some more.

Looks like UK in for a crappy bamk holiday weekend tho.

Gonna wipe the jizz off and spray with stuff tomorrow.

So, I pinched this bugger out, it was definitely a spittlebug. Cleaned the foam out and all seemd fine again. Thanks all. 20140522_190346.jpg

Day 77.

Leaves beginning to die off, But lots of the pistils are still white, As for the Trichs, i havnt got a mag lens or a jewlers loupe so thats next on the list.

in the uk we had a shite week for weather, rainy and 15 degC, so not much in the way of development this week.

Shock horror, there was a nasty smell so, took her out of the greenhouse for a good check of the buds last night and discovered some moldy buds,

Probably chopped out 20g of wet bud, I hope Ive got it all, but we will see.

Started the flush too. put 3 litres of clean water through and 5 mins later another 3 litres to wash out all the salts and nutes.

However one piece of good news, I plucked a popcorn bud and speed dried it on a lightbulb for a couple of hours.

Mmmmmmmmm I was pretty buzzed for a few hours and the high was oh-so-clean. If I can save the plant without any more mold, then I reckon Ive got a couple of ounces once dried of yummy buds.

2014-06-05 18.44.32.jpg2014-06-05 18.36.54.jpgWell milky trichs are plenty but no sign of amber yet. How much longer do you guys reckon?

That looks like a bug residue the foam not mold by no means. sorry I see you answered your own question. to bad about the mold the nature of the indica dominant plant with tight buds. I have found too over the years the less you touch a outdoor plant the less chance of mold. Try and just pic off the mold and let the bud continue to grow. It has worked for me in the past.

If you can maybe get it out of the greenhouse as much as possible until it is done just a thought

Thanks, the point on handling the buds, I haven't, however I did get cocky last week and use a handheld spray with bloom nutes. This is Probably what caused the buds to get damp.

Could I dry the moldy buds and qwiso them to avoid waste?

Right then. I pulled the branches with moldy buds, cut the rot out and hung them in my loft to dry 5 nights ago.

The rest of the plant is mold free and in the 8th day of flushing. But as I was using organic nutes and am out of meds, planned a tryout of what I salvaged from the buds that were ok on the branches I pulled .

After I binned the mold, wet weights of what was left was 47grammes. After 5 days drying till the stems snappped ive just spent a happy evening trimming. The initial measurements were 6g of bud and 11g trim and bud which I QWISO'd in 99%.

The 6g of bud still seems slightly damp so its going into a paper bag for a couple of nights and then into jars for cure.

Considering I chopped this bit early, the 2 smokes ive sampled tasted fresh but not too bad. Ive certainly bought worse from shady sources over the years. So im hoping the cure will help.

Either way, there is loads more on the plant to finish its grow naturally.

Btw, those initial wet weights were branches included.

We have had a good last week weather wise. and more to follow. Shame about the mold maybe try adding a bit more ventilation to the greenhouse may stop it happening again. Though it has been pretty darn wet most of this year.

I had to look up what qwiso was, looks interesting will you post a pick once you have done it?
