Hey guys and gals! I have been lurking around the forums these past few months and have finally started my first grow ever. Of course i decided to go the autoflower way since it seemed to be easier and cheaper to start with. I will start a journal in december once my grow room actually looks like one.

Kinda building it as i go but heres the basics sofar:

-8 out of 9 germinated in RRs under T5s in a dome over a heated surface. 6 Northern Lighst X Big Bud Fem Auto from WOS, 1 Lemon Skunk Fem Auto from Canuck Seeds and 1 Jack Herer Fem Photo from Canuck aswell. ( Last 2 were freebies)
-All 8 are under a 4 bulb 8 foot T5 in 4 gallon pots now. ( i know 27w per plant id a bit low for now)
-I built a 96" Wide X 48" Deep x 90" High room made of durafoam for all 8 plants with exhaust and passive intake and fans and stuff

In about 8 days i will finally be upgrading the lights with another 4 bulb 8 foot light and a 8 bulb 8 foot light which should give me 864W / 80000 Lumens and then i will be adding 2 more 4 bulb 8 foot lights at the end of Jan for a total of 1296W / 120000 Lumens. I think that should be more than enough at 3750 Lumens per square foot no?

Ive never really been all that good at writing online like this but i will try to do better once i get an actual journal going. ANy suggestions? I will try to post some prejournal pics once i figure out how.

Thanks for reading!

Thanks archie. I ended up choosing to make my own because it was so much cheaper than going out to buy one that size. Im also cheaping out on pretty much everything else besides Nutes, Seeds and water(RO).

Hey great to meet you fellow cannadian! Sounds like a sweet setup. Autos are a great way to try out many different flavours, but I certainly wouldn't say they are easier. Due to the virtually non-existent vegetation period, any errors made in early period of growth have a huge impact on the end result. Photoperiod plants are more forgiving in that respect since you choose when to trigger the flower phase.
Check out other guys journals. You will know a good journal when you see it. Plenty of description, some good pics will go a long ways to having an awesome journal.

Here is a little pre-journal update of what i have going on.

And there you have it sofar. After going through all the work of this post i think i might start a journal sooner rather than later...
Only reason i didnt want to do it yet was because my setup is pretty shitty until the end of the month...
What do you guys think?

Thanks for the kind canadian welcome 912GreenSkell! I am more than familiar with many of the grow logs here since ive been reading about everything constantly for a few months now on AFN and elsewhere. I usually pick things up pretty quickly and surprisingly enough im only having trouble with the one photo in the whole batch but am not worried since its got a long veg to go.

I do look forward to comments and help once i get my journal going and i only joined here since you seemed to be the best bunch of guys and gals out there in the land of these forums.

Now im just stoned and rambling lol
