Hello all! I'm a huge noob to the whole grow scene and have to admit, I have become obsessed with it. I think about it nearly all day, every day. Lol Anyhow, I've been reading here and other places for months, analyzing everything I can to optimize my first grow. I'm choosing to do a small(ish) stealth grow cabinet that can house 2 plants (legality issues). Due to that, and the fact that I don't want to buy any more street bud than I have to, I want to maximize yield/potency of my first 2-3 grows, then maybe branch out and try some photos. I'm going to be asking a lot of questions, so be patient with me!

Hahaha thanks for the warm welcome guys! I'm looking forward to starting my first journal! Ordering my seeds/light next week and gathering the supplies to build my cabinet this weekend. I haven't been this excited about something in quite a while!

I'm still super-excited about growing and have done it for a couple years now. I still get up and open the grow tent first thing in the morning. I check it every time I come in the house. Sometimes I open the tent, sit next to it and just gaze and the pretty ladies. I swear after about 5 weeks they grow inches every single day, and then when those buds start to swell, it's amazing! "pher Wiggle"
So, the excitement doesn't fade!

Thank you all! I'm still researching strains like crazy trying to find a decent yielding, hard hitting Indica. I'm going to pull the trigger on a 100x3 old model Mars Hydro LED. It should be more than enough light for 2 plants in my relatively small cabinet. I think I've definitely decided on getting a couple of Think Different's, judging by the huge yields of frosty buds I've seen people get from them on here. I'd like to have it for a good all around smoke that I can function on (GF wants something more Sativa), but I prefer a good stony couch-lock from time to time...it helps with my pain and it's good for sleep. I thought about going with some AutoMazar, but would like to try some cheaper seeds and see how they do, and offset some of the cost of the light.
