New Grower Just looking for some strain advice

Hey everyone how you been looking on this site for quite awhile and would like to ask one or two questions. I just starting to plan my next grow and I have decided to go auto, my first grow was an auto hindu kush and I yielded 53g dry off her under a 400w HPS(the grow thread is over in RIU).

But anyway I have tried photoperiod and im currently growing 6 sharksbreath 12/12 from seed and will be harvesting soon. but have decided to go back to auto's as it suits my style of growing more. I have to move to a new place soon and will have to grow in an attic which will be cold over here in Ireland talking maybe a 10 degree celcius drop when lights go off....

So can auto's be grown under 24hr of light the heat off the lamp will help and also what strains out there are short won't have that much height to play with maybe 15-20 inches..They'll be growing under a 400w hps with a dual spectrum bulb and i'll be growing max 4 in 6ltr pots...

Almost everybody uses 18/6 they need rest time.Most varieties are short but with ultamate conditions they can get bigger.check out afn seed store or sweetseeds.com

Whats up resin. Don't let our weather here in Ireland throw you off. This time of year having the lights off for a few hours wont kill em. Like what namvet said above, the plants will need a little rest anyways. I'd recomend a 20/4 hour light scedule or even a an 18/6, what ever you think. You might be pushed for heigth size tho with only 20 inches of room, does that include pot size? By the way, if you havent decided on a strain yet you should check out Auto Alfa (it's a spanish AK47)from rightbankseeds.ie. It's a short, bushy, fast growing, very tasty, insainly powerfull indica strain (22% THC). What ever you choose, good luck man.

24/0 will be fine. This was the only way for me in winter cause of the difference between lights on and off. Will switch to 20/4 next time.

24/0 is fine, but some consider it a waste of electricity. For a nice squat plant, look at mephisto 24carat or Toof Decay or Sour Crack.

I grew all my autos on 24/0 lights Candy Kush has some short phenos.It is a nice med at night and during the day.The last candy i grew was only 16in.These are very forgiving ,you will love the high,i do.Peace.

I like the joint doctor diesel due to it reacting good to being topped for me. Its one of the few autos I have had better results topping. The northern lights from royal queen seeds also dose good if topped. I top as soon as I see a pre flower.

The Blue Himalaya blue diesel from short stuff usually stays around 14" tall for me un topped and is a well rounded plant as far as flavor, smell and potency but the yield is a little low, about 1oz+

The plants will grow fine under 24 hours light and will help keep them short but it is going to cut your yield. If you could set up a small heater that turns on when you cut the lights off it would be better if that is an option for you. I would not limit my self to one strain though. I would grow different strains so you can stagger your harvest and have a variety of smoke.

there are several small strains you might want to look into. Sweet Seeds I believe has a couple,. On the seed banks I've seen one call A Little Kushy. Or you can use small pots to control size. Use say 1 gallon pots
