Gotcha om not trying to be a pain in your butt brother lol just trying to get the most out of what I have right now to get one grow under my belt and actually get something worth wile out of it haha and then in the fall work up something new since I'll have notes and some experience. Think we can both agree reading is good but without getting dirty you don't learn all that much lol

I went to that tlosoils site looks like they sell pre made soils ready to rock and roll I was thinking if I can ever find a job that'll hire me making the subcool mix this summer and having it ready to go in the fall since maybe then I'll have a bank account and can order stuffs lol

Would adding peat moss to my current mix be good? Or should I leave it as is right now? And not water in any fish epsom salts or molasses?

naah dude dont misunderstand me bro.i wouldnt be yappin atcha if i thought it was a pain. all im saying is your new where we ALL were not all that long ago really. so there is always a learning curve. what gets in the way is me mentioning something.take cotton seed meal or bone meal. which you prolly know little about other than veg or bloom maybe..? and you look at that and its a great component and eventually youll want to get some of the bone meal n kelp meal n powdered molasses n prilled lime n guanos possibly n alfalfa meals n various things to build a living mix.since you want organics which I seriously recommend BTW, take all that cash your going to spend and buy one of those packs.assuming your in the US anyways.dunno how international may or may not work..Buut anyways trust me here.these components you have(NOT the bottled 5-5-5 or whatever either) you WILL you so its not a waste.i promise you. what this pack will do is allow me to answer questions about whatever you encounter and know where youll stand..PLUS (and the biggest quality in my book man imo) itll give you the ease of grow you know of in organics and you can recycle the soil with them product you got now and not have to buy much again as far as a large batch of soil.sub cools mix is a component soil.meaning its got many components to it that have to be bought mostly separate.. ive been working my soils for well over a year now from this initial buy muyself and its done me beautifully to date with slight changes ive made to my soil i can literally take water and some molasses and/or cal mag from general organics or equilibrium and thats essentially all you need. you can make a tea of two through the grow to get your hands dirt n be involved so youll mis out on nothing if you want that interaction within your garden(s) man.

so you have really two choices man. you can take a simpler mix such as the three little birds mix in the organics recipe section n make that as close to what you got now.and your not far off at all really.its a very simple mix and does well with simple feeds in organics. that should be your base simple template man to be where you wanna be. or you can go the bagged route. with this and autos yourgoing to need cal mag or molasses,get a cal mag though imho itll need it eventually.molasses only goes so far.you have your veg n bloom stuff already to thats fine a PH kit to PH your water if needed and a liquid PH meter.

so a hybrid grower of organics that arent truly organic in the essence of it.OR a truly organic grower. and if you want organics and what it offers.your two small buys or so from having a living mix man..lol go by the pack.twenty bucks.this is the path youll want man if you wanna be organic.

the reason i say this is money.I understand money more than most lmfao!!I canrt work and have zero income..i mean Im flat busted broke ass Joke kinda broke. youll need several more buiy amounting into MORe than what this path will cost you,.truuuust me here..lol can you afford this?can you attain one of these? if so i emplore you to do it lol its that simple brother. Ive turned several ppl onto organics and theyve chosen pretty decently too imo many sought simple organic mixes and then other chose a simple mix like Im suggesting.Ill put all my smoke on the fact the living organics guys ive turned onto this mix have overall spent LESS money and will spend less money in the future too. cuz you can reuse your soil..and its perfect for autos.indoor or out.

Where I am lost right now is what are these packs yiu were talking about? Are the on the tlosoils page? Can you post a direct link or did I miss something yiu have already posted?

And yeah man I totally get the broke thing too lol I was a private security contractor since I was 17 and ran my own company on the side as well sadly I have taken a few injuries in that career one of which was a machine blowing up in my face leaving me with compounded vision issues adding to what I already had messed up with my eyes lol unfortunately having all that awesome experience has made me unwanted by employers isn't that nice?

this seedling mix is excellent IF you can afford it and something like a bag of black gold seedling mix AND a small back of jiffys to thin it out to a 60/40 Seedling mix to mellow mix ratio.or any of them plain one work excellent as well.

ahhhh looking at it they finally realized they were loosing money ofcourse and only sell the soil ready made lmfao figures.thats ok bro no problem.Im betting its full strength.ASK when you order too.have them tell you its either the medium strengthed mix OR full strength.. and take that soil you have and cut it by 50-60% by volume with that soil and use as instructed with a plug of teir potting type which youll learn about. no worries.

So that 3 little birds mix looks pretty legit and I can aquire most of that easily enough as you mentioned I already have the kelp and some of the other stuff I reckon since 1.5 cu ft is about 11 gallons and 16qt of perlite probably brings it close to 15 (just guessing I didn't run the math lol) just use half of the things they say in there huh? Should be able to use my dr earth soil for that as well ya reckon?

Using the afore mentioned root naturally site with the free shipping will make getting castings a heck of a lot easier for me

Yeah I could never enlist because we'll being colorblind and hyper light sensitive doesn't fly with the Navy (pardon the pun) so I snaked my was in doing some other stuff. Regardless it was fun had some good times doing it but now I want to help people in this fashion as I have a friend battling cancer right now so he is hoping I can get this figured out to help him that's why I'm pissed my last girls are messed up and that's why I'm trying to just get something good going fairly quickly for him so I hope this dr earth pot of gold perlite and kelp fish meal and cotton seed along with the nutes I have outside of this will help I'll do some reading a bit later tonight once I get done filtering water my girls were a bit dry today (due for a watering) so I'm giving them water and a teaspoon of molasses per gallon and making sure I get good run off as well

from what i understand the three birds mix is a use as is with some teas and it works well.Ive seen some nice grows with it.ive not used it personally but am a little familiar with it though.not the best with those bottled stuffs other than the stuff of fish n the like.the 5-5-5 will work of that liquid feed but its going backwards to a long term recyleablility (yeah sure recycleability lol) imo. so id just use the tea temples provided to learn whatcha wanna try with autos n id imagine youll be right on point in no time.:Sharing One:

One last question that was over looked ealier

Would watering some of this fish emulsion and dr earths 333 liquid fertilizer solution be a bad move good move or not make much of a difference? Talking about watering it in to the mix I out together today. Would it help aid in building my microbes up I'd the spacifice question

in short term yeah itll help boost some of your life and build a trace element more heavily silted into your soil that usual and thats the long term i was talking about but for some organic type grows nope it'll be fine for a grow or so.but id personally use a brewed tea.you can gain more life that way instead of out of a bottle.their essentially cheap.get an inoculate or make one in season from surrounding woods on the cheap too but youll need an endo and ecto mix of myco powders atleast for sustainability of sorts and vitamin building(brand depending)

so to answer your question yes itll be ok but not great.take that fish and some cow or mushroom compost(typically bought pretty darn cheap) and add some of that powder and some kelp meal and a little molasses anda cheap ass air air pump n a cpl of stone n a half gallon container or larger.prolly cost ya all of 25 bucks or there abouts lol

I actually have a kick ass air pump from years ago when I was playing with hydro stuff but I never even got anything growing lol
