your 50 volt drivers could each run a Citizen 1812 chip. The 1812 is pretty close to a Cree CXB 5590 in performance, and you can get them from Northern Growlights for $19 each, with the cob holder. The have reflectors and lenses also
I like it. I remember you talking about the clu058-1825. Is that worth the extra $$ or do you think the 1812 performance is pretty much the same. I love these charts by the way.your 50 volt drivers could each run a Citizen 1812 chip. The 1812 is pretty close to a Cree CXB 5590 in performance, and you can get them from Northern Growlights for $19 each, with the cob holder. The have reflectors and lenses also
It appears that the clu048 is pretty close in lm/watts and Flux as the clu058-1825 at certain current . If I'm reading the spec right that is. Must be a better spectrum maybe to charge more money?? Shit makes my head hurt lol.
roughly $30-$40 cheaper per package . The citizen clu048 seems more bang for your buck. What's the umol /j on the 3590? Since the price is about double the umol/j better be double lol.About 10% less efficient then the 3590's at the same wattage.
Cree 3590 from digikey are
64.60 each if you buy
50,000 they drop the price to 40.375 which is $2,018,750.00
Takes a lot of capital to make 24 bucks a cob
