Don't you still have a unmodified light? You should definitely do a side by side to show how much better the cobs are.
Yes I do. I'm going to have to do that. Only thing I gotta do on this one is switch out two 50v with two 36v. Surprisingly they turned since the drivers were only 40v. The actual voltage was more towards 48/49 though. Definitely not as intense.Don't you still have a unmodified light? You should definitely do a side by side to show how much better the cobs are.
Yeah but the same diodes as almost every other led out there. Just a little touch up. I still want to throw 4 more in the middle but I don't think the heatsinks can handle it.That's sick. Still can't get over the fact you hacked the most expensive epistsr panel sold
Your not cooling nearly as much as you were beforeYeah but the same diodes as almost every other led out there. Just a little touch up. I still want to throw 4 more in the middle but I don't think the heatsinks can handle it.
Yeah gotta figure that out. Thought it was really close with the 12 I had planed. Anyways she's right at the same temperature as the other two original ones.Your not cooling nearly as much as you were before
Your probably spot on but don't forget your producing way more light too.Yeah gotta figure that out. Thought it was really close with the 12 I had planed. Anyways she's right at the same temperature as the other two original ones.
So I tossed a couple plants under her to see how they react. I'll post an update when I get home. Only thing I'll probably do is put the new driver in and hopefully tie the dimming wires to the existing dimming wires. I also have a couple 2700k and 4000k I might rotate in but keep the total COB's at or around 8.Your probably spot on but don't forget your producing way more light too.
What about adding them and doing a switch. Make it a veg/flower light so your not blasting all those photons at once. Cut down on labor and heatSo I tossed a couple plants under her to see how they react. I'll post an update when I get home. Yup that's the intent. Not sure I articulated it correctly lol. What about adding them and doing a switch. Make it a veg/flower light so your not blasting all those photons at once. Cut down on labor and heat
