New Grower kvs 600w hps grow;-)

Hi guys n girls I'm growing kvs and they just started flowering I'm using canna t pro and canna t Flores aswell as pk13/14 600 hps with parabolic hood mylar walls there 2324 days old and about ten days in flower with some about 5 days plus I also have an ak about 5 days in flower all looking well I tested my ph runoff and its 5.8 is this ok as this is what canna recommended

A good place to check would be the new growers forum, they may get more attention than the seed vendor forums! They look a little young yet to me to be blasting with full blooms and PK, just my

pk 13/14 is not used until late flower they look nice and check your info

Welcome to AFN. Going to move your thread over to the New Growers forum. You'll get more attention/help there.

PK13/14 is for late flowering and shouldn't be used until about week 8 at the earliest. Right now your plants are still in vegetative growth and should be getting only vegetative nutrients. Flowering nutes won't be needed until vertical growth stops, usually around week 5-6. 5.8 is a bit low on the pH if you are growing in soil. 6.3 - 6.4 is best.

Oh soz they are 24 days old and have been in flower for 10 days

These are only 65/70 day strains no flower nutes til week five seems a little late in it I've always used flower nutes ten days after they show sex and with the pk week 8 is too late I think but if you're using then you must be growing 10 wk autos rite;-)

They also showed pre flowers at 9/10 days old and they seem happy enough with the feeding of bloom nutesand iv had no probs so I should up my ph then but canna recommend a ph between 5.8/6.2 and they all seem well and they have grown considerably in the last 3 days :-D

If you switch to bloom nutes as soon as you see pre flowers you will dramatically cut down on vertical growth and your plants will yield far less than they are capable of. Autos grow the fastest during weeks 4-6, often growing as much as an inch a day. Where a plant switched to bloom at 3 weeks may only be 8 or 9" tall, one switched at 6 weeks may be as big as 18 - 24" tall. So the resulting yield will be far higher. This has been born out by thousands of grows here on AFN.

Also, bear in mind that the recommendations from Canna are for photo plants, not autos. Autos have different feeding and pH requirements than photos.

Ok I didn't switch as soon as I saw pre flowers I give them there first bloom feed yesterday as there are pistols everywhere and the tallest is about 16 inches at 24 days old and is growing about an inch a day as you said so my ph is to low then but they all look fine and are growing at an incredible pace thanks for the in put much appreciated

So guys I no there's no definitive answer to this but Amy guesses on my yield off these five lovely females ;-)
