James, is this the same plant as in the PM? ...nice pH probe, BTW!

Did it arrive with the tip hydrated? I just want to be sure about this reading

... damn, that's bad alright,... This is an Autopot plant too? OK, even if the probe is off (and it shouldn't be, buuuut..) by more than 1.0+/-, pH this low will lock out many nutes! The res' pH is ok, I'm sure you checked,.. so this is what's going on in this pot alone-?...., but what's driving it this low is a mystery; do you have an EC or TDS meter? TYhis is also something important to have with coco/hydro especially; A hint might be in the ppm/EC reading of the run-off; if it's really high in ppm/EC, then that nute build-up is aprt of the source of the low pH, plus what the roots put in during cation uptake... How does this plant look right now? ... I think a flush is in order, a different deal in coco vs soil/peat,... you have to make a specific solution for this, so you don't screw up the CEC dynamics in there...
-- RO/DI water, with 150 ppm Ca-Mg, 150 ppm current nutes, pH'ed to 6.0; have at least 2-3x pot volume prepared; pour though until run-off pH/ppm-EC is at or near the same as going in,... with soil this acidic, it might be better to try 7.0-6.5 to help counter the acidity,...
