You are smart to look at the real wattage. In fact, the general lights are what you pay for. For example, a 300w led grow light,If "true 300w" means "does this light draw 300w from the wall receptacle," then no, it certainly does not draw 300w. It means the total of what the emitters are rated for is 300w, which does not tell you how much the drivers actually push to them.
 
Everyone should take a look at our AFN vendors. Several good lights there and a couple of the companies have DIY kits that will let you build a light that will stomp even some of the good commercial lights! Northern Growlights and I believe Tasty LED both have kits. Go check out our vendors. Save money on QUALITY lights ( most have an AFN discount ) and support AFN!
 
oh i know ill be buying at least one other not including the test. looks fantastic to me and i do know electronics some,and with maxed out drivers and proper cooling,dude,they're gonna be hard hard to beat man LOL
